Warning those trying VMA right now

It's unplayable right now, everything is lagging like crazy.

Was on Seht's Balcony and all of the sudden the razer blades got stuck and moved in erratic fashion, while I was taking unavoidable damage.

Been that way for 10 minutes now, same thing on my Mag Sorc in the Frozen Rink, archers getting stuck, heavy hitters lagging and so on. And no, it's not my internet connection, getting 250 mbs and everything else is working.

There are probably 100's of reasons for lag spikes there, but my internet connection is not one of them.

Otherwise I wouldn't be able to play other online games as we speak, while my GF is streaming HD videos on Netflix?

This is why I got killed in two shots for 21k damage with 25k health and 20k shields in the stage 3.

I had just completed it.
0 lag. only lag I had during it was that same as always laggy stage. stage 6, spider stage.
It was just laggy af.
and wanna know what it gave me? I haven't ran vMA since hours before Morrowind release on may 22nd. and it gave me another
Restoration staff Decisive.. I already got a sharpened resto staff, & precise resto staff..

maybe you are experienceing lag issues because your GF is using up your bandwidth streaming netflix & you have other web pages/programes/apps running on your PC!

maybe you are experienceing lag issues because your GF is using up your bandwidth streaming netflix & you have other web pages/programes/apps running on your PC!

Dunno what it was, strange thing is that it worked perfectly for other games I played at the time which were online games.

Whatever it was, I'll give it a go later again, I want more destro staves

Funny that you mention this. For the past week or so, I've been experiencing lag in the exact same place every time I've run it: Stage 6, round 4, when the archers spawn in after the mini-boss is dead. I've now just begun to anticipate it and spam shields to survive, but yeah... consistent 400-500+ ping spikes in this spot every single run, and nowhere else.

Stage 9 is also sometimes trouble for me, and again, I have now just begun to anticipate it and prepare accordingly. In this stage, my character just feels completely unresponsive at times, and skills simply do not cast when I press their buttons. Sometimes too, when I bar swap, I can't even see my weapon until after a couple of seconds.

Zero lag usually means none, zip, nada zilch etc, yet you admitted you had lag. That's not '0' lag.

im not experiencing any lag. just crashing during a loading screen to stage 3...

I can also confirm this. It's not about to connection it's just happening specially since the last patch.


And I actually farmed it couple times like this and I completly agree with @Danksta just made me LOL.

Frustration is just real in this place and I love how they ignore about everything

I agree with your OP. I have tried Templar and NB and I found they were brutally hard playing, getting killed a lot. Deleted my NB. Abandoned my Lv Vr12 magica Templar (Altmer). I have been reading the patch notes since early access, and AFAICT either they just haven't balanced them well (consider they nerfed the magplar - significantly, causing me to abandon) or just still haven't fixed all the things that aren't working correctly. Reading all the patch notes doesn't instill me with any confidence, rather makes me suspicious that there is still too many things broken with magplar & NB.

One thing that bugs me is these are the classes that can't summon help, and that seems to be a BIG part of the problem. The summoned helpers divert away A LOT of incoming damage, and I'd bet that ZOS is not considering this when they compare stats between the classes and decide whether or not to nerf or boost. It's also painfully obvious to me that ZOS (the ones that make the decisions) doesn't really PLAY the game (seriously, not just occasionally casually) AT ALL. My opinion FWIW.

But to everyone: I advise you to hang on to your high-level builds (as long as practical), regardless of whether or not they seem weak now, the way ZOS keeps changing things they may be OP one day after a patch.

I ran VMA on 3 characters so far this week for leaderboard spots on Xbox NA no issues. I wouldn't say it's broken on Xbox may be your connection, but knowing this game I wouldn't rule out it being bugged.

That was an issue i been having on a specific stage.
Stage 6.
I am unsure if it is lag or something else.
but it started some time mid homestead patch where it started happening for that specific stage & it only appears to have been happening to me.
I would even lower quality to low & nothing would change. next stage it's back to normal. no issues.

Different games require different Network needs. Streaming hd videos will lag many games and not others
