What's the plan to bring magblade dps up with twisting path changes?

The only reason they began performing to acceptable levels again was because of that accident. If this is getting taken away next patch because 'it wasn't working as intended', what's the longterm plan to make their dps up to the levels of other classes? What's the communities ideas to do this?
It wasn't necessarily good design for this to be the only reason they became good for trials but I love the feeling and playstyle of the class and i don't want all my effort in getting one since hearing they became decent to be wasted. It's not fun to have a class that's basically only good in pvp. We don't all have to be sorcerers but man it would be nice if one fix didn't ruin their one chance to shine.
