Sorc hate is real but I've seen videos from top endgame players that show there's a very good balance among classes in terms of DPS.

It's true that sorc is a very versatile class but that doesn't mean it has to be nerfed to the ground.

Stamblades are fine, very nice single target DPS and a big capacity for AOE DPS that you'll only gain access to by straying from the single target DPS meta. I've adapted my Stamblade to deal more AOE in 4-person content, and now I'm keeping pace with magsorcs that I'm paired with according to the group DPS addons.

All classes can be nice. But they all excel in different areas.
For example, nothing beats a stamina NB for solo PvP.

I agree, but i still think there should be some adjustment somewhere.

I have a magplar DD as my main (off heals - destro on front, resto on back), and she can solo 99% of the content in game. She never dies, and is a faceroll mode character. I don't have to think too hard about any fights I get into.

Then, I have my Khajiit Stamblade.

She is a much harder, more skilled way of playing. Press the wrong button at the wrong time, and you die. However, like others have said, run from stealth, get your rotation down, and everything dies in double quick time. Very high single target DPS, decent AoE DPS in PvE. I did have her in PvP before One Tamriel (she got sidelined for around 6 months), but ran with the zerg, which made life easy.

Stamblade requires a LOT of skill, and you really have to think about what you are doing carefully, and requires concentration unlike anything else in game. Its not a class you can play at the same time as reading the forums.

Magsorcs are a class that does so much DPS, it requires almost zero concentration.

Sorcs should pump out massive damage, but to balance this they SHOULD be squishy. Unfortunately, ZOS gives them unlimited stackable, uncritable shields and self healing with pets. As long as I have been playing ESO, sorcs have been demi-gods.
Why did the Dunmer cross the road?
Apparently to get stuck in an eternal load screen!

I agree, but i still think there should be some adjustment somewhere.

The adjustments should come as buffs and tweaks to the other classes using sorcs as a template. People say "Sorcs are way too good and need to be nerfed" but they aren't actually seeing the big picture. Sorcs are great at DPS and not so good in other areas but for the most part can be passable or even pretty solid as healers, tanks, and support type characters when in the right hands. That should tell everyone that maybe, just maybe, sorcs are the only class that's actually balanced properly. Also, this might be blasphemous but, could it possibly be that Zos knows this which would explain constant changes to other classes but barely anything to sorcs?

if that is the case, then Zos' developers dilema becomes: "Sorcs are balanced just right so how do we apply that balance to the other classes without stripping their unique qualities and making all abilities and passives the same just with different names and animations?"

Might not be right on but it seems like there's some evidence in their reasoning that suggests it's not far off

Not to nitpick, but there about 1,000 great things that Sun Tsu wrote and said, but that is not one of them.

Here is a much better one:

Victorious warriors win first and then go to war, while defeated warriors go to war first and then seek to win.
