Borrowing an account

A friend wants to give me his account for a few days so that I can prove to him that vMA is do able with his current set up. But I wanted to know if this would be against the ToS at all before I did anything

✭✭Well, in theory it's against the tos to share your account. But some time ago a there was a case where someone publicy shared his account (it was discussed on the forum, so zos certainly new about it) and he was not banned.
So if you trust that zos will treat every player equally, go ahead. However I personally wouldn't risk it on the live server and just do it on pts.0 -

✭Shouldnt be any problem, we had an extremely prominent streamer who admitted on his tube that he used other accounts, ZOS was aware of it and not only allowed it to go on but invited him to pre test morrowind.
If they took anything less than a similar disciplinary action with you that would be extremely hypocritical, and we know ZOS are not hypocrites.0 -

If they took anything less than a similar disciplinary action with you that would be extremely hypocritical, and we know ZOS are not hypocrites.
Did he say he uses other accounts which belong to another person and which the other person also plays? Or that he owns multiple accounts which are only used by him?
Because the first is against the TOS but the second is allowed.

I mean, it's probably against the TOS, who knows. My question is why even bring it up in the first place. It's not like ZOS knows you are sharing an account for a few days with a friend.

He was invited to the studio to test morrowind before it went to the PTS. The point is to not point out the blatant hypocrisy of ZOS and their favoritism, the point was to reassure the op that even if he knows he is breaking the rules, and does so with that intent he shouldnt be banned as they allow others to do the same.
They even admit it fully. So people ARE ALLOWED TO CHEAT. Not only that they are rewarded for doing so.
