The previous issue was, after respec, both Poison Injection and Cloack skills were reseted. Mainly Poison Injection, it went to lvl 1... (I had this last month).
Yesterday I had to re-morph and I was suprisely to see no need to re-level those skills.

Maybe I miss it, but I dind't any notice in path-notes.

I don't remember it in the patch notes myself but could be I just wasn't looking hard enough.

Still if this has been fixed it's good news for everyone doing respecs.

I think it was with Homestead's release that a number skills had their order/sequence rearranged. My bow-wielding nightblade was working on leveling up skills at the time and I remember a couple of bow skills needing to be re-leveled up from rank 1. I also remember that upon unlocking the morph for those reset skills, they instantly went to rank 4 under the new morph. I suspect this is the same thing - meaning it's by design, just not fully disclosed.

Yeah pretty sure this is the case. I had to respec two stam toons last weekend and had to lvl up the base skill of some things but the morped skill was still maxed. If I reset again it don't have to level up the base skill.

Same thing with bound armor (and probably a few other skills)

OP, what likely happened is you leveled it before you respected it again and there was no bug and no fix. Allow me to explain.

Poison arrow used to be the first slot. Those abilities take less xP to morph, because low leveled characters get less XP. When it was switched to the last slot, it then needed much more XP to level it up, which is why if you respected it would revert to level one or two.

Here's where it gets kinda confusing.

Once you leveled it the second time, after the first respec, it kept that new XP value, meaning you could respec a hundred times and it would stay at rank IV ready to morph because you had officially leveled it where it needed to be.

Does that make sense?
