Patch 15 Traits / mundus changes

So, We have seen changes of Mundus stones that are pretty awesome such as the Lover Mundus stone for penetration.
but then comes the buff to precise 7% to 9% , nirnhoned to 15%
but then the nerf of Sharpened to 2750 from 5160.

Will Nirnhoned be better than sharpened for PvP / PvE? or sharpened BiS?

I was thinking if Nirnhoned is to become better than Sharpened, I could just run The Lover mundus stone with vMA inferno nirn staff that I happened to have saved..

your thoughts?

Sharpened will still be BiS in PvP and PvE I think.

However, some of the other traits will no longer be completely useless and may even be best for certain builds. Certain builds may be able to compensate not using sharpened by tweaking CP or mundus.

I don't think precise weapons will be all that great as the 55% buff to crit on armour bonuses will boost crit enough. Even then, the theory crafters may find builds that use precise weapons.

All of this is assuming that the changes aren't altered after the PTS of course. Until the number crunchers and theory crafters do their thing, we can't be certain. The changes coupled with the previous CP changes may even mean that there are multiple BiS options and variations. This is certainly what ZOS intends.

Infused is now Overtuned in comparison to sharpened. Especially the Flame Weapon Damage Enchantment.

I do have a Infused vMA maul and been hearing Infused will be pretty good now too.
I also don't think ZOS would make any changes really to the patch notes

The more I think about these changes, the more exciting they seem from my point of view.

I'm primarily a PvP dps and like to experiment with item set combinations with the ultimate goal of killing people quickly and I do think that these changes will enable a lot more variety in viable combinations that kill people quickly.

It will also make RNG less painful in that we may be able to compensate non-BiS weapon traits with mundus/CP/the improved armour set bonuses.

Sure, many will still follow the YouTube builds, but it should prove fun for the experimenters among us.

None of my builds are meta, my gear on my main is a mixture of a crafted five piece mixed with another five piece but that is farmable.

My crafted is TBS so that will be so convenient come Mundus changes for experimentation.

Both my staves are TBS as well so it doesn't break my bank nor time for the dropped set I use. I have but craft others for trait testing.

These changes are awesome!!!

Sure its a nerf to penetration but it's going to make the game so much more enjoyable. No more farming the same places for weeks on end for sharpened drops as other options will produce similar results. So stoked.

I just wanna know if I wasted my gold on a medium armour set with no crit bonuses due to Thief Mundus nerf... seems like Night Mother's Gaze might overtake Spriggans with the extra crit and a nirnhoned dagger

NMG i been hearing will be better than Spriggans.
as for thief it was nerfed from 11% to 9% , I see it still being good.
as for weapon traits. Hearing it'll be precise & infused most likely.
Lover stone might replace thief for pve maybe but that's a guess. I don't PVE very much..
