Hello,
Imperial City DLC is coming up to it's 2nd Anniversary fairly soon and that's... kinda cool, I guess. But at the moment I'd like to talk about the Price of DLC and release time. I mean, let's be honest here: no one is gonna be buying Imperial City now really unless it's apart of the Gold Edition of a new purchase and it's pretty dead player base wise.
A new player joining the game and not getting the Gold edition to see that to 'Fully' experience the game there's like £100 of DLC to buy, especially as the game gets older and even more DLC gets released, I'd want to run away and hide. Yes the answer to this is that there are Bundles and things as well as the Gold edition but still, as times goes on more and more DLC will stack on top and total prices for everything will be ridiculous.
So for this reason I think that for DLC's that have been out for 2 Years they should either drop down severely in price or become 100% free, then the Gold Edition of the game can evove to include the 4 Most Recent large DLC's with the Older one's becoming free and just being added to the game. Not only would this make it far less intimidating for new players wanting to get into the game properly but it would also greatly rejuvenate the Player Bases of that content such as Imperial City etc.
There is a fair argument that it's not fair on the people that bought it when it was new or 1 year beforehand. However this doesn't really add up to me as it's the exact same as any new game or product that comes out, when a game's brand new it's sold for £40 retail price, but over time it goes down it price significantly.
So, that's just a little thing I thought I'd throw out there.
