Maintenance for the week of May 18:
• NA megaservers for maintenance – May 18, 4:00AM EDT (8:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for maintenance – May 18, 8:00 UTC (4:00AM EDT) - 13:00 UTC (9:00AM EDT)

Level'd characters are scaled too high.

I thought it was weird how I had 35k magicka and 2k recovery with 54% crit and 2000 spell dmg. Leveling up my character I beat tons of random CP players. Once I hit CP mid dungeon I noticed everything dropped.
Edit: 28k Magicka, 1.8k Recovery, 52% crit, 1.6k spell dmg is what it dropped to, or what it was before changing gear.

The difference from lvl49 to CP is huge. So huge that it might be possible/optimal to run an all lvl'd character group in certain situations.

Gear. When you hit CP, your gear could suddenly be several tiers under your new level. That's a huge difference to your stats.
Currently obsessed with battlegrounds. Spamming here between rounds. Sometimes, when forums are particularly good, I skip ballerina around*

*autocorrected nonsense, but it sounds amusing enough to me that I've taken up ballet

I think the scaling is fine, IMO, @Smasherx74.

ESO vets like you and I generally run two (2) 5-piece sets for leveling ... or some other logical gear combo.

Gear combined with 630 champion points is generally going to be better than the vast majority of the player base ... which even at level 49 is a lot of players on their first character or not at the CP cap yet.

When you skip from level 49 to a high CP it makes a big difference in gear.
