Hi there
To be short..It's american holliday, it's Independence Day of USA, ZOS is from USA, right..all ok..Please tell us, where is reward for regular ESO+ members? Its a big Holiday,right.. so please tell us that some cosmestic reward, called Dwaren Create( funny ) is NOT only reward? Really? non eso+ members then get much more than us. So?

The ESO Plus trial will grant you the following benefits:

Full access to all DLC game packs - new zones, quests, dungeons and more!
Including Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, and Shadows of the Hist DLC game packs.
Unlimited storage for crafting materials
Double Bank space for your account
10% increase to Experience& Gold acquisition, Crafting Inspiration, and Trait Researchrates
Double Furnishings and Collectibles space in player housing
Exclusive ability to dye costumes

PS
I want to exchange my creates for +5 days of my current ESO+ account, is that fair enough...? Just saying but im pretty sure you will find better solution, can You? ( @ZOS )

It changes nothing for me. i still get what i paid for. It's like those who complain about the ESO+ sub saying they're constantly getting shafted each time another benifit gets added to it. They're not as they've not lost nor gained anything.

I don't think you'll be allowed to exchange the crates for game time as this would be a lot of works and effort on their part.

The crates even if not something someone desires are still a pretty generous reward as it's a little over 1,500 Crowns worth of stuff for free.

Sure I would personally just rather have the Crowns to spend on anything I wanted but I will not refuse what is essentially something extra I get for just doing what I normally do.

Good luck with that, but I doubt it'll work. I think the point is less about giving ESO+ members a bonus reward and more about getting people to sample the crown crates by giving them the first few crates for free.

So my personal opinion doesn't matter then , they are trying to push Eso plus to get more people to subscribe and are giving Eso plus members FREE crates they don't have to do that you know , but still it not enough for some people ! But hey just all my personal opinion , and sorry but if you think this is a rude answer then maybe online is some where to avoid

Haha! /agreed. Sample that gambling! Sample that sub, we need more since we turned our back on our most loyal players.

I actually have 27 days left of the sub I had, cancelled long ago, but stuck with the remaining time. Uninstalled. Stuck to my guns with this one. They turned to gambling boxes and turned their back on ESO plus with this "chapter" nonsense. Staying loyal to your true customer base should have some kind of priority.........

I saw this whole ESO plus and crate email and thought maybe they were trying to make good on their error. Guess not.

Enjoy ESO folks! It was a great game for a long time for me.

You're getting something for free that they didn't have to give. Accept it and be happy. I'm so sick of people always wanting more more more for nothing. Ridiculous level of self-entitlement around these days.

They want people to sub, so give a taste. Instead of shafting those who already are subbed to ESO+ and give nothing they instead are giving us 5 free crates. Ya they want us to have a taste of this ridiculous crate gambling system but I'll take free crates. I'll never ever buy a single crate.

I'm happy with my ESO+ subscription so to get something additional for free is great. Why do people always have to complain about every little thing? Accept and enjoy that they are giving ESO+ subscribers something so we don't feel left out by them offering a trial ESO+ to non-subscribers.

As an ESO+ member I tried valiantly to care about the OP's complaint. Then I saw a node in need of harvesting.

A trial period would imply that it lasts for only a limited time. Once the trial ends all benefits also end which is why I don't see the point in including the unlimited craft bag space with it, unless they are assuming that those taking the trial period will end up purchasing a full eso+ account.

It's funny cause I know that any new players using the trial period will likely be disappointed in not getting access to Morrowind. So... for the term of the trial.period, they get everything we eso+ subbers get, including the disappointment. L-O-L!!

Here's what I'm confused about: to receive your free crates (thank you) you have to login each day with ESO+ active right? Since everyone is an ESO+ member for the duration of the promotion, anyone logging in each day will receive those crates... isn't that like having your cake and eating it?

I think the OP isn't digging the thought of eating cake crumbs. He does bring up a fair point though, perhaps it is entitlement, perhaps not but what do we, as subscribers, get that everyone else doesn't during this promotion?

It's a gift from eso for logging in the 5th through the 9th while subbed. Even if you only do the trial, you still get the crates. You just don't get the 1500 crowns for ftp trial. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth so to speak.

It is zero crowns worth of stuff because that I what I am willing to pay for crates. I am willing to spend money on crafting bags, so those have value. 5 days of crafting bag >>> 5 crown crates, unless I'm busy those 5 days and can't really play such that I didn't loot any mats or do any crafting writs.

That being said, I understand that this is simpler for them than adding the 5 days/not counting the days against balance. I will find entertainment in opening the crown crates because it is silly to not do so out of spite.

If you are not an ESO Plus member, you can enjoy a free trial of the service for the duration of the event to see what it is all about. For more details, see below. If you decide to purchase a full ESO Plus membership, you still earn free Crown Crates for each day you are logged in as a member!

I took the above as being you get free CC's if you decide to purchase it after the event, not that you get them simply by using the free trial.

Nope, you dont get the crates by doing the free eso plus, you only get the free crates if you are already a eso plus member.

Double Furnishings and Collectibles space in player housing

Please note: the ESO Plus free trial does not grant the bonus Dwarven Crown Crates, which are only available as daily login rewards for full ESO Plus members.

The crates are irrelevant to the complaint. Some people want the 5 free days like the non-subbers are getting. Throwing cosmetic items at them doesn't change that. They want that $2.50 value instead of crate junk.

I find it a bit whiny, but it is a valid complaint for customer service because it is good to let companies know if you are a loyal customer and are unsatisfied with a policy. I'm not sure it is a reasonable complaint to post in a forum though because most people will find it annoying.

The trial people aren't getting the crown crates from what I have read like everyone else. They have to sub to get them, so unless most of us are reading it wrong, the OP has nothing to complain about. Trial is just that. You get to try out the game dlcs, the unlimited craft bag which for 5 days really isn't worth the trial unless all you plan to do is node hunt.

Honestly, ZOS is trying to tempt people into subscribing. That's not a bad thing. Subscribers mean that ZOS has money coming in. They're a company. It's like Amazon giving a trial membership to Prime. They are hoping people will subscribe and believe it, it was because of a Prime trial that I signed up.

BTW, Thanks ZOS for the crates. I log in every day anyway, but it's nice to find a treat at the end and unlike people who moan and complain about what comes out of the crates, I have been fairly lucky and use all the items (potions etc) that come out of them too.

The trial means you get the crafting bag, double bank space, and access to the dlcs. All of which you could farm the heck out of for the life of this event and keep anything earned from any dlc, anything would stay within the crafting bag and extra bank space until taken out by you.

The eso trial does not offer dwarven crates.

First of all, the American Independence Day holiday was July 4th... it's now July 6th, so that was 2 days ago. Not an issue anymore.

Second... I am a current ESO+ subscriber. When I first heard about this event, I was a little upset because I thought it would only benefit non-subscribers. But then I found out that people who are already subbed will be getting free crown crates. So, subscribers are not being ignored.

Honestly, I have very little interest in crown crates, and I don't ever intend to buy one. But if they're going to give me some for free? I won't complain. :)

The OP's complaint makes no sense to me. We ESO+ people have all the goodies the trial people get, and we don't lose them in five days. Plus we will get five crates assuming login each day of the five.

I have a Planet Fitness membership. They recently sent me notice of a several day event in which guests could come in for workout classes for free even for members who don't have guest pass rights in their package. So omg, a bunch of folks get to come in and use the gym equipment for free for a little bit! The horror! I should get extra free days on my paid membership if they're going to let all these plebes in! (I will agree that PF has annoyed me a bit by giving me a 15 buck a month package so I can drop it any time, and a few weeks after I began they started consistently offering the same deal at 10 bucks a month ... and FiOS wouldn't give us long-time customers the blazing fast speeds at half our monthly price that new customers get ... but that's a lot different from giving a free trial to convince people to start paying regularly).

And games do free trial weekends/weeks all the time. You know what the "compensation" is for paying players? New blood comes in and keeps the game alive and growing.

If the concern is that this is some sort of holiday gift to the masses, nah. I see no connection to America's Independence Day and this marketing promotion. Sure lots of retailers did 4th of July sales, but this isn't a sale as such, it's a free sample. Besides, when the fireworks are over on the 4th, that's it, the country goes back to business as normal the next day.

Correct, you get CREDIT for the free crates if you log in with the ESO+ member (both paid and trial) on each of the days. You ONLY get the crates if you are an ESO+ member on July 17, which involves you subbing.
