Yesterday I logged on to do my crafting write and couldn't even do those, dashboarded 3 times and took me 4-5 button presses to get them to craft and then I kept getting kicked from the quest screen trying to turn them in. Took me longer to do them then I logged off. I haven't even played this game in a week

I tried the VPN to Dallas trick as suggested by others... and it WORKED. My ping was like 115 for the last 2 hours. I'm using TorGuard as my VPN.

I definitely do that too, if I wasn't on console.

I believe it's still possible to do on console if you set it up through your router. It's just much more complicated to set up..

Mine was actually better for me this morning that it was over the past couple days. No kicks to login screen or anything yet, maybe I just got lucky

It's finaly back to normal for me. Since Friday it was a laggy piece of ***. I'm on Xbox na, my ISP is 150 mb /s. It wasn't that. 6 *** days it took to fix.

Yeah it's weird. I could actually play on PS4 last night with a bit of lag, and this morning I played on PC with little to no problems. So something's happening apparently. Hopefully they say something. Would def help people that are still getting the brunt of it. Not sure why they've only said "they're looking into it". I think the community would like a little more info just to feel in the loop.

That was a joke, right? Yes, there is still lag; sometimes really bad, sometimes just plain bad and sometimes it is actually possible to have a fight without dying. I finished a quest this afternoon that I have been working on for 3 days. I then went out to be a tourist and checked out the Gold Coast since I took a sub for the month and have never been there. I avoided all the minotaurs though.

I have had the same problem since the Morrowwind update. The game runs perfectly until I use the activity finder and join a queue. Whilst queuing the game is unplayable. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Anyone else thinks it is weird that a small group of us have lag then suddenly we don't, but another small group of people do. Repeat and Rinse. I had this same thing happen, ping +999, but no issues for 2 weeks now.

Is it possible that ESO is "Passing" the Lag around with small groups of people to buy more time to fix the issue? Every small group thinks its fixed, but really just passed on to the next small group so it seems like a new issue? That way when post are made about this topic you have people posting no issues, running great......when actually this person isn't effected at all(Or not yet). I am asking because I have no knowledge if this is even possible. Seems weird to me.

Several posts here provide a good indication that it's a network issue rather than a specific server problem. How many of those complaining of lag have responded to the request from ZOS a few days ago as I recall to submit a ticket (or even a forum post) with a traceroute? That's the best way of locating the problem.

Note that I'm not saying it's all down to network issues, but if it was purely a server-side problem everyone would be suffering which is palpably not the case.

Found a great use for the Warden bear Ultimate. Lag Detector. If I'm running around and see that my bear is no longer next to me, I know I'm lagging and will probably DC soon.

For me, it's been off and on. I have never had any lag whatsoever until July 4, then the 4th and 5th the game was virtually unplayable. By the 6th, everything was back to normal. This week, it has started again, though not as bad as last week, but I'm back to getting constant skill delays and lag spikes.

that's why I know it's SERVER based... I can go to some areas and expereince little or no lag for long periods, yet go to WAYREST and experience every form of lag full time. Sure, blame the client or the network. :P
