Only way to make it work is to ignore resist , heal, reg builds and focus on DPS, crit , crit heal to finish .
That was done with mag sorc , beginners build necro , willpower and monster set , random sharp destro
I can say now , keep it hard , vma made me wayy better

Ignore all the people that will come here bitter about RNG on what you 'got' grinding anything for gear is a way to ruin content, so i just went about vMSA by going back to it to get better / faster and let the weopons come as a by product.
@Argah you need to realise thst the boss health defines when she smashs the islands and when the adds spawn. So take it slow, when adds land kill then before going back to DPS boss. You want to end up on the two sigil island, popping both to melt her before she gets you. Good luckXbox One | EU | EP

How do you do the ice stage? I'm cp160 doing it on normal can stay alive no bother kill ads etc. but when last boss comes always end up with nowhere to stand and freeze with him having about quarter health left.
You just need higher dps m8. I'm stuck on the exact same level on vet, and it's awful.3 -

Basicaly have the boss destroy the islands in this order,
1) the island with the haste sigil
2) the island with the health sigil
start round and pick up speed sigil, lay a DoT down for the boss (no need to dps her at this point, you need to be focused for a troll appearing, a troll will spawn and go to any random island, kite the boss and kill the troll asap, kill the archers apply dps to boss (run between any islands if it helps), dps boss down to 76/75% making sure you are on the haste sigil island, he will flash red and enrage, leave that island asap, rinse and repeat on the health sigil island.
make sure the last island is the one with two sigils, use them both, helps you if you have a destro ulti available ignore every other add, just focus all dps on the boss.
and read this, its gold for starting out in vMA

I always have the 2nd island smashed 1st, that way for the 2nd part you are on the starter island and the adds have a further travel distance to get to you, you run over to the final island and burn them without that fat giant in the way.PC Master Race

You need to kill very fast, so I think this is a time/DPS battle. You do need to watch for the trolls smashing the islands too (take them out immediately after they spawn)0 -

✭IMO, you want to leave the island with the defense sigil for last, because when the third set of adds spawn in they're both ranged. This way, if you want to grab the defense sigil and let the adds/nereid kill themselves you can, while you focus down runa.
Even with hundreds of runs down (I lived in vMA during the Orsinium event), I occasionally screw up on the ice stage.0 -

kill adds fast an block boss , i use tri pot posion for stamina and cp for roll dode and break free
75% 50% must go out when he start to break the ice
It's realy all abput dps and crit , kill fast and get crit heal0
