ESO Requirement Checker

Had a client failure this morning after installing and launching the game. After running the requirement checker in the client folder I found out my "AMD Radeon R9 390" does not meet the minimum requirements for Elder Scrolls Online. This begs the question, what did you change in the Morrowind update? The game was actually running during the beta test.

To be more specific:
Minimum Requirement: NIVIDIA GeForce 460 / AMD Radeon 6850
My System: AMD Radeon (TM) R9 300 Series

If I don't hear anything by this evening I may have to launch ESO with the debugger attached and see if I can jump that requirement check even though you may frown upon such things

Debugged the ESO application and now have a working game, ESO was throwing D3D11 Exceptions. Still have to do more digging through your Requirement Checker of course, I can jump the graphics card check and make it pass but I would be interested in seeing how you managed to rank a R9 300 Series under a Radeon 6850.

Sounds like a technical glitch. I run ESO fine for a years on an R9 390X card until the damn thing kicked the bucket a couple of months ago.

I think it is a bug in the requirements checker, too.

As for your failure, could be anything causing it, even a bad (or going bad) card. Sounds like you have the skills, though.

This is why I allow no buckets in my house.

Then what do you use to hold water when mopping the floor?

That would explain why my socks stick to the floor?
