Ignoring the class balances which is your fave class ?

***Due to poll limitations I am ignoring hybrids***

Assume that you are in utopia where class imbalances cease to exist then which will be your favorite class (class' mechanics, playstyle suits you, you like the damage/heal/tank etc and makes you adore it) to play ?

My basic rundown would be

1 - wardens mag and stam
2 - sorc mag and stam
3 - magblade
4 - magplar
5 - stanmblade
6 - stamplar
7-9972 = offline
9973 - tie - magdk
9973 - tie - migraine headache
9974 - stamdk but its close to 9973
9975 - forced to watch marathon of Event Horizon, Highlander-2 and Life

Magicka warden. I love the druid archetype. Play style is reasonably fun (although stamina classes are more engaging). It's weak as ***, but that doesn't diminish the fun factor.

This is a hard one, really.

When I started a few weeks ago, I began with a MagSorc, which worked well. I got him to 50 and all, without too much pain involved. Still being new I decided to look at other classes too, while he regained Enlightenment and made a Mag Templar... which was like love on first sight. Mechanics, playstyle, worked so much better for me, I think my Templar will remain a constant among my chars. Now... I have tried a MagBlade... and have to say, I am having fun, but have yet to reach max level.

So far I can claim all three classes I tried were fun, though Templar is first in terms of mechanics and gameplay.

In a utopia Stam DK could actually buff my arrows with FIRE! Instead it neuters my arrows and begs me to play melee.

Great fun for stealth in PvP and works as an awesome soul mage in PvE.

Paired with vampirism, you're stealthy as f**k and you hit like a truck.

Mind you, I use heavy armour (NB Tank FTW) so the stealthiness is a bit ironic, but it looks cool too!

Been playing magSorc for the last 2 months but I still have magDK as a safety net. Recently respected him and got some SoS with Moondancer; been soloing WB's and doing trials and just got a reminder why I like this class so much.

MagDK, requires patience and dedication to Master, once there you are the worst opponent to try and take out. Rotations are immensely complicated and it's actually fun, Nothing more fun than burning someone down followed by a Powerlash to the floor and a leap to finish them off with a bang, prpper Magdk's don't use S&B Blackrose crap. Full power or gtfo.

Stam sorc comes in 2nd as they just refuse to die in pve, with solid timing and "skill" can sponge 1st Vmaw boss shield phase.

Runs

I think I prefer magicka Nightblades, although I 100% play them wrong. My deeps on them seem to be comparable to that of a tank. But still the most fun for me.

Stamina Sorc, made me not want to play any other class as stamina dps. Just seems no other stam class lives up to it, for me that is.

Magicka Templar so easy to play. You can play the majority of the game using just the first 3 skills available to you.

Magicka Sorc... Feels the most powerful

Magicka Dragonknight, why the @^$#^$^@ can't I learn to play this thing properly. I know they are powerful, I have seen others play them. Just every time I try it doesn't feel as natural to me as other classes. Even when I do good, it's short lived cause I am out of resources, even before the Morrowind update.

Wardens, feel kind of blah at the moment. I was looking forward to a stam pet class but with the bear not taunting, it's a bit disappointing. Still going to play it through the zones to see if my thoughts change on it.

Can't select an overall favourite as I like different ones for different things:

Tank - love my stam DK's
Heals/DPS - Mag Templars
DPS - enjoy playing my stam NB's and stam sorcs

Have just rolled my first mag sorc and having lots of fun - may end up being my favourite but she is only level 22.

All have strengths and weaknesses.

Dragon Knights are the most pleasing concept to me when it cames to ESO classes.
Stamina because I like fighters and melee combat.

In my mind, I am the best sorcerer healer, but you know warden is stealing my heart...mind ya I am at the stage where truly hope nobody dies. Still at least if you do it's in a garden.

Dragon knights are fun, but only cause I love dragons. Also shield charge is a must. It makes you go flying!!!!

Magsorc, hands down. Ranged + magic is always my favourite playstyle in these games, and I love being able to have combat pets (even if they do hardly any damage and have a bad tendency of getting lost). I liked having NPC followers in Skyrim a lot, and this is the closest to that I can get in ESO. It's fun for me to feel like my trusty pets are adventuring with me.

I've really not had any luck with the other classes. I found my templar very boring, and every attempt at making a nightblade is a huge fail. I don't know if they're inherently weak or if I just don't know how to play them (I'm guessing the latter, hence I keep trying).

That being said, I recently made a mag dk that I'm loving. First time I tried to play a dk I thought they "had" to be a stamina tanky sort, and tank is not fun for me so I decided I didn't like them. Then I discovered mag dk + Dunmer and my opinion changed big time.

Weak as ***?! Proctards are having problems bursting me down in light armor, much better players have a hard time and can get rekt. The timing is perfect to have Deep Fissure, fire heavy attack, Cliff Racer and Crushing Shock all land at the same time; the burst is insane on the class.

I love my Magicka Templar. I really enjoy Stamina Nightblade a lot, which is what I've been playing since I got GO on my Magplar, but my Templar will always be my favorite ^.^

Mag Dk or Nb (because still using spammable fillers between dots)
Mag Sorc (main, but heavy attack meta sucks + freaking pets suck aswell)
Mag Templar (low sustain)
Mag Warden (lf damage)

For PvP:

Mag Sorc (because achievements ...)
Mag Dk (light armor duelist build)
Mag nb (bomberman)

I'm going with Templar (mainly Stam) just because it's the only way I can use a spear in this game which is frustrating since Vivec gets to tote one around..Anyway if you took away the spear I'd go with Stam Warden to give me that ranger feel. I would say Mag warden as well as I normally play druids but I feel it falls short of AD&D /DAOC /WoW druids in gameplay.

Yea I'm so tired of looking at the same weapons too. We need some new ones badly...
