Rally + Corrosive Armor + Wrecking Blow + Executioner = GG. They are ***, and what you said is pure speculation, I've been doing PvP for 3 years and my StamDK have 1.3k hours and it's not even my main and I really think they are worst than magnb, their sustain is actually the worst in the game, they used to have that but they don't have it anymore and battle roar and igneous shield are useless for Sustain and only benefits MagDK.

Please I know you didn't mean it but don't spread false information like that because this class is complete *** right now and it definitely not need this type of opinion, people should cry for buffs instead of claiming they are alright.

Btw, Corrosive is a defensive skill, not an offensive skill, you never use it to go offensive you pretty much use it to regain resources or to spread opponents while being almost unkillable.

Since launch my stamDK was my main pvp toon with equal amount of hours. I have always had trouble with burst damage but with alot of attention I can hang around and weather the storm till other people lost their resources. This patch changed that, I can't wear heavy which fails in the "stand your ground" description. I have no class heal unlike any other class except stamblade(I feel y'all's pain). Pre-patch, I could rely on the classes passives to help sustain my fight, but not anymore. Every other class has waterfalls of sustain compared to stamDK(m&sblades is slightly better). Also my damage passives are jokes compared to every other class. burst is poop, sustain is poop, tankieness is poop(compared to shields), and heals are poop. Its hard out here for a sDK.

Dk isn't in a bad spot. They're not excelling at anything, but they do get noxious breath and minor brutality. Try a 2h/bow setup. 35k dps be more than achievable.

Firstly, in response to the clickbait title:

This is my parse, all solo, on 250 ping, with an Argonian stam DK, with some gear problems (infused Kra'gh's shoulders and infused mace).

StamDKs aren't dead, not by a long shot. If anything, they are right behind stamblades when it comes to pure stamina dps, followed by stamplars and stamsorcs. Their dps and sustain when it comes to heavy attacking makes them even more viable compared to other stamina classes.

However, I agree with OP in every other way: stamDKs still need some form of buff to make up for their melee range handicap (to be honest, I think all stamina classes do). The whole poison passive thing looks really enticing; I really would like some sort of poison damage buff (and also make an argument about buffing poison damage for Argonians so they can be a viable DPS class. I like my lizards).

These are my solo parses (on Xbox so no Combat Metrics and I forgot to take a clip for the 48k, I got too excited and started bragging in chat instead of taking a clip) with 5 Hundings, 5 Two-Fanged, 2 Kra'gh and a vMA Bow which is what I run in raids aside from the fact that I swap out one of my Sharp weapons for an Infused one for boss fights.

I mean considering the fact that Minor Berserk is additive and not giving exactly 8% (but less in fact), I doubt a DK with Berserk would get these numbers. Plus I mean @OrphanHelgen is pulling over 41k DPS on the 6mil dummy so you aren't exactly teaching him much with that parse of yours :P

Then again there is the almighty stamina Sorcerer which is although lower than Nightblade in Single Target, pulls more overall DPS. But Nightblade is just way more fun and looks cooler. Either way, all stamina classes are very strong and basically equal, with Sorcerer and Nightblade being on top. Templar, Warden and DK are still very strong and very viable though.

How does a Stamina DK have more survivability than a Stamina Sorc? Or even Stam NB for that matter? They don't even have an armor buff through dealing damage. The most impressive single target parse on the Hunters Killers I've seen til now was a Stam NB as well, just saying.

That looks very good. What gear do I need to achieve 30K+ with 2H?

Idk, check video discription see if there's a link. I don't main a stamdk so not sure best gear/cp assignments. I'd take alcasts advice with a graim of salt, I looked at his templar buikd and unsubbed. My stamplar is doing 42k dps atm w/o tfs using precise weapons.

I think gilliam the rogue might also have build setup for dk. Either way check tamrial foundry for some of the better setups.

The video you linked contains a parse by the OP, using 2W/Bow.
Alcast's build is also 2W/Bow
Gilliam the Rogue plays NB

You were saying that a stamina DK can use a 2H/Bow setup to achieve > 30K DPS. Which is believable, since some 2H passives were buffed a bit. I thought you had more knowledge of such a build, if you made the claim.
