Being a Game Master.

Okay, maybe a stupid thread for most of you, but I'm curious - is there a possibility to be a Game Master in ESO?

There were a lot of Game Masters in 2014, when the game was fresh and ZOS cared about its state. Now 3 years later, when more and more bots is flooding PvE zones , ruining economy, increasing lag and destroying players experience and nothing is done about this, heck even no response from devs about making progress with removing them I wish there was a possibility to become a Game Master and help with clearing all this mess!

I'm sure many of you would like to help the game with bots, but our submitted tickets are being flushed down in a toilet. I'm not asking for some super powers, just simply ability to remove the bots. I know many locations where bots are living since months making money from materials and farming CPs, and nothing is done about this. Also I think many people would like to help with bots for FREE - for example me. I have plenty of time and I'd love to help to get rid of the bots in move active way than submitting reports and getting auto response email from a bot (oh irony...).

Anyway, I don't know what was the reason that ZOS got rid of Game Masters, I don't think it's because of money. Even if ZOS is trying to save some money they need to know that plenty of people would like to volunteer to make the game better. I know they added some kind of mechanic in Dolmens, that will nuke you if you're not moving for some time. But sooner or later bots will find their way to avoid this and do their job again - and this is why real human living could help more, than just stupid nuking mechanic.

pay a eso plus subscription. Log hours and performance (i.e. player feedback if the GM was helpful, Bots handled and such) the eso plus would come in handy because it would let the GM visit every zone except morrowind... have morrowind owners gm that. You would only need like 10 GMs max per platforms if they had good scheduling. Heck have some moderator characters that do it for a moderator title and costume to record and report to the GMs. Easy and free

I imagine ESO would be a pretty laid back game to GM yes there is lots of players ect but bots aren't everywhere and once they are cracked down on I'm sure they will become harder to find and far less of them. I've seen people asking about what to do about a group of bots in zone chat most they can do is report them without any GMs to take care of them.

Game Masters (GMs) were never gone, they are members of the Support Team, iirc.

They exist just I am sure they turn that icon off. I also heard they can fly so maybe look up? I got a mail from one on the live server after the disappearing housing items. I think it's really not game masters fault on some bots.

First some bots are not bots. Just stupid or lazy people. You can grid dolemens and not be a bot. You can walk in a river of slaughter fish mutiple times and not be a bot. You can heavy attack through a dungeon and not be a bot. You can even use harvest add on and following nodes for more effective farming.

Sure they do really exist, but they have to make sure they are bots and not stupid or just odd people. If I was to make a suggestion maybe make a better system for reporting bots, so it's easier to catch in action and excluded bad reports.

Yeah I've had some late nights where i'm fishing in an area for a few hours. Some may think you're a bot but that isn't always the case. Personally I only have a problem with those giant groups of like 20 bots all moving together ect. Playing and having your other account going on another computer is more acceptable (in my opinion)

Yes so GMs could also help new players with advice and moderate chat and what not, bots is just the most visible duty of a GM so they would be able to keep busy
