Physical Imperial Edition Question

I recently got the Physical Imperial Edition as a gift. The old 2014 one basically with Molag Bal Statue and the nice booklet.
Now I was wondering, it has codes for the base game and the Imperial Edition version . It also says you get a free month of subscription time.

My questions are:

1)Does the free month of sub time still apply?
2)Can I use the Imperial Edition code on my normal account (which is now the Morrowind Collector's edition version). Will that affect my Morrowind edition in any way? Eg lose out on the Morag Tong conversion and emotes?
3)Can i use the code for the base game to create another account with just the base game? Or do I need to use the code along with the Imperial Edition for some reason?

I basically want to use the base game code to have a secondary account, the Imperial Edition code on my regular account so that it gets updated but I don't want the Imperial Edition code to somehow mess up my Morrowind Collector's edition version. And if the free month of ESO plus still stands then that is a very welcome bonus!

Does anyone know anything regarding this?
I try not to tag the community managers as I know they are always so busy but it seems they are the ones who would know such things so here it goes (sorry) @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

    I expect you are in uncharted territory my friend, there can't be many of those imperial editions still knocking about. Congrats!

    I've got three accounts, and have been able to mix and match the codes or give them away to friends. So in my limited experience I am sure you will be able to use the new base game as an alternate account and I EXPECT you should be able to apply your imperial edition code to your main account.I never had any problems with those bits.

    I have no idea about your month of free subscription, but because that offer is tied to an outdated payment model I would be surprised if it worked.
    #1 tip (Re)check your graphics settings periodically - especially resolution.

    No, the imperial edition just gives access to the Imperial Horse and Imperial class. It does not remove stuff.

    Thanks for the answers. Are you sure about the sub part? It seems to be that because it is based on the outdated model it might not apply. Did you use an old code after it went buy to play?

    Also did you use an old version of the game with benefits (eg imperial conversion) with a new version? (Morag Tong ?) I expect it is as you said since it will just add things. Just want to make sure

    The free month sub is when you create a new account so i am wrong on that part. If you apply the imperial edition code to your existing account there is no free month. And probably also not if you create a new one. But that's the only part i am wrong about :smile:

    The code to imperial will not delete options from your existing account.

    Yes, i had my (old) imperial edition and upgraded it with the code to morrowind. I can transform crafted from imperial to morag tong and back to imperial. The imperial will just add those things to you existing account: horse, race and transform armor to imperial.

    Edit: I still have one unboxed physical copy of the Imperial Edition. Still sealed :smiley:

    Yeah I was a bit surprised they were still available. A rather pleasant surprise!

    I was also thinking of around the same lines as you have said. I just wanted to see if other people had similar experiences or if the ZOS people knew anything. I might ask it on the support portal if I get nothing here.

    I don't think you get the 1 month sub with it since those boxes are from when subs were required. I didn't get it with my 2014 standard edition box(activated in May 2015), even though the box said I would.
