This is just a casual "show & tell" thread.

You see, I've had an idea for a tank character, and so, heavy armor is the way to go. However, I want to enjoy playing my ESO characters along with their characteristics. A tank shouldn't take light armor, I find peace with that, but this character would not be of the type that walks around in shining armor all the time.

This is all about personal opinion. You may think A looks like B, and someone else can say "No, that obviously looks like B".
If you think it could pose like B, feel free to share.

(just assume that I want to fool enemies with my armor ;))

I think thieves guild and dark brotherhood. And of course there are costumes.

Soul Shriven style makes you look like a homeless person. Just act the part and you will be drowning in free cigarette butts in no time.

My character wears heavy armor, but I don't thinks it really looks heavy. More like leather than metal. Daedric, redguard, thieves guild, painted with Coldharbour Ash Black.

So to not make it too complex:
What styles make a certain type of armor (light, medium, heavy) look more like they're another type of armor?

You should have put this as the title of your thread, instead. However, going off your current title.. I just like the look of heavy armor, especially when you dye it the colors you like. Otherwise, I'll just throw on a costume to make a heavy armor set not to look like a heavy armor set.

Honestly, I wish heavy armor was more appropriate for pve magicka dps to wear. I hate wearing a dress. >_>

    A small off-topic question:

If I dye a costume, is it permanent until I choose change it, or will it wear off after subscription ends or other means?
