So a few questions about ESO+

InnocentOfCrime
Hi, I was considering subscribing to ESO plus, but I have a few questions I'd like answered first that won't be answered over the course of the free trial.

1. It says in the bonus event article that ESO+ boosts "Trait Researchrates" by 10%. So what I'd like to know is if this will effect current research timers? For example, say I started a 30-day research 3 days ago, would I login to see that I only need 24 days now or would it still be 27?

2. Additionally would the above timer stay after ESO+ expires?

3. Do costume dyes stay after the sub expires? Also is the dye account wide or separated by character?

4.Lastly a question for PS4 owners, does buying the ESO+ sub start an automatic monthly renewal?

    1. Yes it will help immediately, so it will be 24.

    2. Since it instantly reflects ESO+, I'm going to guess it instantly reflects ESO+ ending.. and would then revert the timer to it's longer verision (though your initial 30 day researchs from 3 days ago would finish before it lapsed)

    3. Yes the dyes stay on the costume after the sub expires, you just can't dye them again. (Unless you buy dye stamps from the crown store of course)

    4. Yes it auto-renews. If you don't want it to, just buy it.. then go cancel it right away. You still keep all benefits for whatever time you bought - but it won't auto-renew.

There's actually an event happening this week that will allow you to "buy" a free item from the crown store to get a free trial of ESO+. This could for sure answer your question #2.

Thanks, now I just need to know if the costume dyes affect that costume for the whole account or just that character.

Also, I was asking #2 so I maybe wouldn't have to check it myself lol. But in the name of Science! I suppose I will.

Just so I'm clear, I mean't that if after the first research was finished and I started another 30 day timer (that actually started at 27 because of the sub) would I login after the sub ends to suddenly find that 3 more days were added to the timer that was already going. As in its 24 days just before the sub ends, when it ends it adds the 3 days back in making it 27 days.

ESO+ costume dye just effects one character, so you can dye the costume different colors for each of them.
