More Ability Bars for each Character

I would very much like for them to please bring to the crown store for us to purchase additional ability bars. Currently each player starts out with 1 that has a place for health, 5 places for 5 abilities, and 1 place for 1 special ability skill.

When the character gets to level 15 they get only 1 more ability bar.

They really need to give us more bars which will make it a lot easier to put the skills that we want to work on and get better at while playing the game.

I hope that the developers will be including this much needed update to the game and list this in the crown store in a future update.

Hope that more will agree and if enough of us want this it may happen.

For the console versions of the game meaning xbox one and the PS4. And give us the players the choice to be able to purchase it or not is all I am suggesting.

Nope, the design of this game requires to to make decisions about what skills you have available to you on any given build.

That sounds almost like paying for a concrete advantage. Is there a term for that?

Not sure how that would be an advantage, right now with only 2 ability bars we are limited by how many skills we can develop, by having more ability bars it would as mentioned would allow the player to have the skills more accessible.

What difference is it if they are in our skill menu or displayed on our ability bar or bars......

Just no! ESO is as good as it's now. Also purchasing additional ability bars would be advantage for players who doesn't buy them.

There is not a difference between the ability bar for PC versus a console. Everyone has the same bars .....

Are you saying console players should have more skill bars than PC players ????

There are so many buttons on a console controller. The PC players using a controller have the same options as a console player. All controller functions appear to be used for existing gameplay .....

Are you also saying Sony & Microsoft need to create new controllers just for your request ?????

I am with the majority ..... No to this suggestion .....

When I first started playing ESO I was a little bit miffed - why so few skills to use?? Now 300cp and have gotten used to it and actually appreciate the choices I am forced to make, they make my build feel more personal.

I recently logged into LOTRO for the first time in months and when my skill bars loaded with 20+ skills slotted I remembered the hassle it was to manage them all lol.

Absolutely not. There's a lot of baloney "p2w" allegations about the crown store, but this would actually fit the description, and the intent, of paying to win. People could pay cash to have more combat skills than players who didn't pay. The wallet would then become the most critical part of competitive builds, because anyone who didn't shell out would be at a combat disadvantage.

Not only NO, but turbo no. All the NOs. Hell no.

Agreed and their are more important things in the game to fix or improve for example like player housing. If they do decide to include this and put in another ability bar then it should be free and available to all.

It's one of the great things about Guild Wars, the potential for 300+ skills but the capacity to only run 8 skills at once.

Being forced to make a choice is important, otherwise you'd simply be limited in the number of skill points you could earn to prevent you from learning more than 10 skills.

The only reason I'd want a third skill bar, is to be able to have one weapon swap in dungeons and one everywhere else.

    Are you joking?

Having 18 skills available in combat is obviously an advantage over 12. You can't swap skills in from menus in the middle of a fight.

I'd say no to having the extra ability bars accessible during combat....but, would love to have a skillbar loadout options such as ..dps, healing, solo, aoe, pvp etc. I know PC master race has addons which accomplish this so why not offer us console plebs a similar feature?
It would certainly be a QoL bonus and I don't see any downside to it personally.
Once again these "loadouts" would only be accessible outside of combat !

The point of having two bars is making you chose how to play. Two bars are more than enough. On top of that, how would you swap between bar X and Y on a console? More often than not you need to quickly switch and cast an ability or someone goes down. If you have multiple bars, that can take precious time that you do not have.

I cant even swap between 2 bars while in cyrodill!

neither can i even begin to express how wrong making it crown store would be

having it console exclusive is also a no

a huge yes however to banning the 'add-on' that pc players have that allows them to swap gear & skills during combat! (and i know not every pc player uses this app - but it is still a bull *** add on)

    NO!

It is setup to make you have to think and decide carefully what abilities you want to use. Not so you can just use everything. Also, to add this as a pay feature to the crown shop would be venturing into P2W terriroty as anyone not willing to pay cash to open another ability bar would now be at a disadvantage.

I never really liked the bar switching and the resulting limitations which we mainly have to thank the console folks for, but what you are asking for is just nuts. -- Not to mention that something like this should never be available in a shop.

    How about flying dragon mounts?

But seriously, this is a design choice. I understand that some people want 6 rows of hotbars with every single skill and potion available at the ready, but that's not how this game was designed. You have to pick carefully the abilities you want to use. The first step in successful combat happens before you even leave town. Allowing for 5-6 EXTRA abilities would not only be game breaking, were it available for purchase in the Crown Store it would be entirely Pay-To-Win.

So far, ESO's Crown Store has been the best example of how to do a cash shop without ruining your game. Don't bugger it up now.
