I do writs on 6 different characters and have never gotten a master writ requiring lower level matts. Maybe it happens when doing them in a crafter that's doing lower level writs but they would be able to harvest the correct matts anyhow.

One of the ozarga recipes take a low level water to complete. Spelling of the name is probably incorrect, one of the recipes from the Orc chef outside of Wrothgar.

This in turn makes them more rich as in selling retunables for 500k is just plain ignorant on Zos part. For even the average person with all master crafters, these things are out of reach to buy either at voucher merchant or GT. Remember, there is no money in crafting anymore since Zos took a dump on sets and increasing materials for crafting, and also nerfing upgrade materials etc. The whole writ system needs an overhaul, from dailies to master writs. Vouchers need an increase in amounts for the type of writ. This 6 to 10 vouchers is absolute nonsense for epic and legendary crafting, or just get get rid of gold items needed for voucher writs. Reduce the cost of items on the voucher vender as well, and increase drop rates on upgrade materials. Problem is Zos does not care as they love trolling us with their RNG system.

That being said, I'm full 9 trait in everything and know MOST of the motifs and I have seen only ONE writ for over 6-7 vouchers. The drop rate of the good vouchers is way too low in my opinion and many of them have a very poor ROI.

Remember that achievements are also a factor in master writ drops ... not just trait research and motif knowledge.
Some examples of achievements are:
- Does you character have knowledge of the hakeijo essence rune?
- Has your character golded out at least one piece of equipment in clothing, woodworking, and blacksmithing?
- How many purple provisioning recipes does your character know?
Before calling master writ drops too low or buggy, check your achievements in the craft first ... even with all achievements cleared there's still a random chance you'll get one.

the more high vouchers (over 100) i deliver, the more writs i get-last night i got a 270-for the first time
got about 15 lower writs on my bag cause i have nothing to buy so i wait for something good to turn at vendor

Wish I had that kind of luck. Nice one though.
Please give your nirnhoned writs to me if you're being spammed with them, you lucky you o: I have all traits and all pre-Morrowind motifs(except Crown Store exclusive ones) yet I've only ever gotten ONE nirnhoned writ(doing crafting writs daily since the system came out), epic for like 40 writs. I so wish I'd get more, nirnhoned legendary seem to be like 200+, I'd much rather prefer one legendary for 200+ than five legendaries for ~40 that I keep getting from woodworking>.<
As for Nirncrux - it's no longer expensive since ZOS totally burned the trait to the ground. Before the nerf potent Nirncrux was selling for 20k+. Now it's around 6 to 8k on PC EU. Fortified Nirncrux was always cheaper as it drops more often. It's around 4K now. That's also reflected in the prices you'll get for the master writs.
