I have 7 out of 8 characters all stam and mag for each class expect for the warden since i didn't buy Morrowind and I dont have a stamplar becuase i didnt think it was worth grinding for. Ive achieved flawless conquerer on all mag classes except for warden of course. I have all legendary sharpened maelstrom weapons, necro, scathing, moondancer, bsw, grothdaar and Illambris basically all BiS gear except for any HoF gear since i didn't see any of it worth grinding for atleast not enough for me to pay $40 for it. Im fine without having morrowind because even if I got it I would still be bored since i've gotten all the trials gear that matters and I dont have the desire to get any fancy skins, play battlegrounds or even do trials anymore. Plus quests get super boring with very little reward so Morrowind is pointless for me. Though I made a wood elf stamblade and maxed him out recently and had fun for the first 2 weeks in Cyrodiil but even after all this time theres nothing left for me to do. This game has almost become a chore for me. I've been playing since launch on Xbox NA and only as of recently ive been getting super bored and lost all motivation to even log into the game. Pointless post but thought I'd let the ye old forums know and see if anyone feels the same way.

Yeah, it's called burnout. Try another game for awhile or maybe take up knitting. No game stays interesting forever unless they constantly add updates.

So you want more content, but you don't want to buy Morrowind (which is more content)?

If you're just bored of the game, then that's that. Take a break.

If you're bored because you don't have enough content, then the solution is simple: buy Morrowind.

I don't get the point of this thread.

I was honestly expecting the OP to say he had throughly finished Morrowind and was now bored. If you don't feel like playing the new content and are tired of running the old content...move on! Go play something else until they release new content you actually want to play.

Actually this would be a great solution for you especially since you seem to be so dedicated to the game. You will get to build a new type of class in new lands and will add many hours of game play exploring an entirely new landmass.

You know OP i get it. After 3 years I get bored too, and ya i didnt buy morrowind. ZOS will never get another dime for me but I do have a remedy for your issue.

When I get bored, I try to play ESO under extreme conditions. Last Thursday night I ate a large meat lovers, 2 beers and a couple of cheese sticks. I mean wholly *** I was full, I got on to ESO and tanked blackheart haven vet mode.

Next week Im doing 18 pancakes with butter and syrup, then Im rolling into Crypt of hearts.

Maybe you could try something similar? Perhaps a good place to start for you would be extracting your head from your rectum and playing without the tunnel vision?

you said you pvp, but what do you do?
zerging is boring, all you have to do is mindlessly spam abilities.
ganking gets boring, uncontested kills gets old fast.
whynot do some 1vx type stuff. kite some guys away from a group and have an actual fight. this is when i have the most fun in pvp, smaller scale fights against decent to good players.

You might be on to something. I was farming bone pirate with a friend and realized i dont even want to pvp anymore so then stopped farming bone pirate. Maybe this game is a lost cause for me.

If you're saying you're bored but don't feel like checking out all the new content in Morrowind, I very much agree that it's not actually boredom but plain ol' burnout. It happens. Especially when you've been putting the hours in that it sounds like you have been. You could:

    1) Go ahead and get Morrowind. It just may spark your interest once you get going with it.

    2) Take a hiatus from ESO. I've done this a few times, sometimes you need some time away to feel engaged again. That 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' stuff. Play something else for a while.

    3) Still bored? Get a hobby. Read a book. Learn to play the ukulele. Start an insect collection. Carve soap into models of famous buildings. Hang upside down to gain a new perspective. It's a big world out there :)

Yup, that's burnout all right. Also, judging by your achievements (showoff!), maybe you should move your nerdy ass and go outside? Really, no shade here - some outdoor activity will do you good. You need a rest from ESO and your computah

If you are not having fun, there is no reason to play. Maybe take a break and if you feel like playing again in a few months the server will still be there.

Personally I find the process of grinding for any gear excruciatingly boring. The only reason I try to obtain specific gear is because after I obtain it, then I have some fun trying out different build ideas in PVP. I would prefer if there was no BoP gear at all in this game, instead let us simply buy all these items from other players.

Have you tried ERP ? I haven't because even though I've been playing since the beginning , I always find something to do here . There's so many achievements to unlock . Get Emperor next . ERP and Emp don't cost anything extra . After you do that try Erping as Emp .

Did you check your achievements? How are you doing on those??

There's a difference between having nothing left to do in the game and nothing left that you want to do ... which in your case appears to be the latter choice.

However, I'm guessing your mind's made up. There really isn't anything that I (or any of the other forum-goers) can say to encourage you to keep playing the game. You've completed the portion of the game content that you enjoy and are likely (as @MLGProPlayer said) to take a break or move on to the next game.

The only thing we can do is point out the flaw in the "nothing left for me to do" argument ... and offer suggestions on playing other content in the game. Forum-goers are likely not going to care whether you choose to get the point or not.

Because some of us have been playing since launch and don't find it boring and still entertaining  But then I play other games as well to break it all up.
