Anyone else thinks Almalexia needs a makeover? I think she actually looked better in morrowind. And she looked like a chimer , compared to what she does now in eso. In eso she just looks like a normal dark elf with some horrible lighting effects , especially compared to vivec

The old almalexia looks like a beautiful, godlike chimer. The ESO one looks like a common kwama miner who learnt how to use magelight and a bit of makeup.

i have more than one answer for u, depending on my mood..., pick whichever u like:

a: i really would like, if zos woukld take more care of lore and the former elder scrolls games

b: i don't care for esos "lore" a lot anymore, since its already screwed up, for me eso isnt even a real elder scrolls game anymore

c: i'd prefer to have that b* to just get stabbed and drowned in the pond in front of her stupid temple. because. its almalexia. make her some pimples where it doesnt feel good, that would suit her.

Agreed. She should definitely look much different from normal Dunmer.

Well i couldnt agree more , except shes not an evil power hungry massmurderer, *** b***h just yet, so i disagree with the pimples lol

But you're absolutely right. Morrowind Almalexia is an intimidating goddess. ESO Almalexia looks a little bit like a Dunmer teen with a flashlight telling a campfire ghost story.

Ive read something about that since the morrowind expansion, they they would also update the other ordinators including those in mournhold, then they could also fix almalexia aswell at the same time

You showed only modded (pretty) one. I'd say that Almalexia from ESO looks more like chimer, because in Morrowind she looks like human with elven ears. And only differences are her hairstyle, outfit and better graphics. You need to remember that she once was a mortal being like other mers.

The Morrowind Almalexia looks like a mystical Goddess of some sort, added to that mystique of the older game

Dam i forgot that was a mod lol, the original version kinda looks like a grandma xD
But if u compare eso almalexia with eso vivec, you can clearly tell they didnt care much about her design. Vivec is half dark elf and half chimer, but his golden chimer side compared to almalexias , are completely different..

As some ppl stated above , she looks like a kvama miner with a flashlight, lol

Ahhh, yep that one is familiar. It's been a while. Ok in that case: ESO Almalexia still looks like a Dunmer with a flashlight. But at least she's better than actual old Almalexia, who looks like a drag queen that has had a really long night.

I think there's a problem with Vivec, because his dunmer side is completely blue! Dark elves aren't blue, they are gray.
In ESO there are some quests where you can back in the past and see chimers and their skins are not as gold as Vivec's chimer side. Maybe Almalexia will stop looking like dunmer commoner if they give her crown and those badass shoulders.

I think a lot of the difference in quality between ESO's Almalexia and Vivec models is due to Almalexia appearing in the main game. There has been a little more care/quality on the story/quests in the DLC zones, and Morrowwind is no exception. A retroactive tune up that makes her look a little more intimidating would be nice, but I don't think it's impossible that the TES:III Almalexia picked up some of her markings and uncanniness in the intervening years between the two games.

Honestly the only good one is Sothas. Both Vivec and Almalexia are corrupted by power.

Yeah thats probably the reason. The crown and shoulders would probably do it, and fix those dam light effects , they kinda remind me of the akatosh set ..

Yes his dunmer side looks weird. It should be pale blue or ash gray

this quest is...no their skins arent golden u know why? because they just used dunmer and made the light of the whole area sepia. so they didnt f.up vivec, they fed.up the quest due to some lazyness creating real chimers.

As much as im unimpressed by the eso version of almalexia , i think they did one thing right, and thats her voice acting. She does have a very deep, wise and motherly voice

I agree completely. Rework Almalexia as well as all of her Ordinator guards in Mournhold!
The difference between Ordinators in TES: III and ESO is exterme. Look at the huge helmets and tiny shoulderguards from ESO Ordinators and compare them to the sleek helmets and elegant shoulderguards from the original Morrowind Ordinators! That was the best-looking armor in the whole game it deserves more respect imo.
And I won't even start on Almalexia, if she didn't have that glowing magelight in her hands I'd probably confuse her for a commoner and try to pickpocket her...

Not saying ESO Almalexia's design is perfect, but that is a rather dull photo of her that doesn't do her justice. She *can* look quite goddess-like as well:



And her golden Chimer skin is evident here, she definitely doesn't look like a Dunmer.

Agreed, but there's nothing more to do than just change their skin and eyes color, because this is only difference between Dunmers and Chimers. Almalexia have this "sepia" skin and this mean that in ESO Chimers aren't perfect gold.
If you think that Vivec isn't f.up, then you should look at Vivec from TES: 3

and this is Altmer from TES: 3

I didn't find picture of nude Altmer, but If you look at their arms, then it is clear that Vivec's chimer side and also Chimer's skin should be the same color as Altmer's skin. So this is Altmer from ESO:

There's of course many tints of Altmer's skin, but no one is as gold as Vivec's and there's some similiar tints to Almalexia's.
My point is that there's no problem with Almalexia's and Chimer's pale skin, but with Vivec's shiny gold and blue skin.

well its quite highly possible, that chimer mainly totally looked like altmer, since the velothi split back then from the altmer due to differences in beliefs (aedra and daedra).wasnt it like that?

i guess, when they just put in altmer into that one quest, instead of making everything sepia, they would be more close to what they would have been looking like.

shes ok, could use a makeover, maybe when they do another dlc that might feature her again. I kinda wish she was at a place you can just visit her at. She kinda poofs after the mainquest. I really liked how she looked in the concept art for her in eso.

those armors are so cool, i wish they add it to the game
