This is what takes the *** with them. If you get a dupe of an apex mount you should be able to swap them for another. Not cash them in for a 3rd of their gem value. I don't have any stories. Refused to buy them after getting 13 *** labrador pets out of 25 crates last time.

Exactly this! A ridiculously small amount of gems for repeat mounts is insulting.

I love the camel!!!!!! Traded in my sweetroll for it.

Although i dont feel you pain because i got the guar and the bear as well.

Wow really lucky! I had that sort of luck with the Wild Hunt, got the bear and camel.

Moral of the story, never buy crown crates.

34 crown crates and neither the Dromathra Senche nor Striped Wolf mounts, which were what I wanted. I don't even want the Apex mounts (not that I got any). I did get like 20 nix hounds, though.

RNGesus hates me so much.

no sympathy for you. I got zero dwarven mounts (30 crates). bought stuff I wanted that didn't drop with gems - half of which came from prior chests - well, at least I still did ok, mostly thanks to senche, guar and the faction hero costumes (with those and a few other pets/ costumes I wanted, I basically broke even). lots and lots of nix hounds though and flower hats I cannot think of a single character of mine that they would work for. but.. no dwarven mounts. not a single one. forget getting repeats

P.S. I'm not buying anymore crates from this shipment. 2 15 crate packs is my limit and generally a point at which they stop being cost effective for me. I'll just have to be content with dwarven spider.

Haha the sympathy part was a joke, gambling is gambling and I got what I deserved! I bought 60 crates if it helps, my wallet is dead.

I got the striped wolf. It's not a robot though...

Believe it or not, the Gorne wolf was all I wanted! The apex mounts are pretty average this season imo.

Got a 4 pack with the eso+ crowns got 2 nix hounds and 23 gems so I got a pet I don't like and not enough gems to buy anything cool

@vrine ouch to the 60 crates. If I could just buy the gems and get the mount I would. Not a huge fan of gambling boxes, but really want a robot mount for my crafter.

Don't have a tragic story as I only bought one single crate on a whim... but it included the dark Ordinator costume that makes my son (who also plays) insanely jealous. So worth it. So very worth it

My story with crown crates?

Well, once i got a single crown crate as a gift. It sat untouched for many months... Then one sad, dreary day I said to myself "You know what Inarre, we should let that poor Khajiit get off his stool and get on with his life" so I opened the crate, and what was inside?

A meal, a drink, some potions and a pet i already have.

And that is where my experience with the crate khajiit begins and ends.

I have bought crates, no more than 1500 crowns worth, twice. Bot times I got Apex mounts, both the big cats. I hate them. I should be able to trade them in for enough gems to purchase the next tier down mount of my choice. Instead, I am stuck with them and deeply wish I could give them away to someone who wants them.

Well, I got the Dwemer bear. I hate bears. I live in AK, where in my mind, seeing a bear means you are about to have a bad day. So, I locked the Dwemer bear up in a cage at my house.
