Not to cast a pall over what is mostly a fine update to the game in Morrowind, but with the new Warden class it really seems a little more attention needs be paid to the functionality of certain core combat mechanics.
Specifically, there is a major problem where using the Command Pet hotkey to send your bear after 2 or 3 enemies will cause ALL of them to reset as soon as one of them dies. This happens any time the bear is the one who begins combat.
To my way of thinking this totally undermines the entire philosophy of the class, at least when it comes to Stamina Warden. I find the class most rewarding and immersive to play when I send my bear in from stealth, set up some range shots/AOE with bow, then rush in at an opportune moment with Critical Rush or some other combo.
This whole ranger/ambush playstyle is really rendered unplayable by this issue, as the first enemy to die resets the entire pack, refilling their health, and breaking the immersion of the ambush.
I feel this should be considered a CRITICAL bug and prioritized within the next couple patches to be resolved. I cannot recall if it was this way on the PTS but I haven't really had much time to play Morrowind since then.
This experience has been a somewhat off-putting start.
