Morrowind persistent 'restricted' area

Dear Zenimax,
Why are there some places on Vvardenfell that are restricted even AFTER the related quests are finished? I stumbled on such an area and as soon as i saw that 'entering restricted area' i got spotted by someone, and a bounty. It is not fun. I get it, you love and are proud of your 'stealth system' ( which is in my opinion garbage) but you just cant do this. The Elder Scrolls is about exploration, and you are discouraging exploration by making some area restricted WITHOUT ANYTHING THAT INFORMS PLAYERS.
Please consider a nerf to restriced areas.

✭You do get told it is a tresspassing area. Similar to other ES games where if you enter houses after nightfall you get warned to get out and if the inhabitant gets very annoyed they can attack you. Or even in areas that aren't houses

✭✭Yes there seems to be a delay between entering a restricted area and the message popping up informing you that you are trespassing. It's rather annoying and now I just avoid those areas altogether. I wish there was a red line or something that would inform me that I am nearing a trespassing area, that way I would know not to go near there at all.

✭✭✭Ugh yes. I wish there was a clear indication or something. I remember when I just started exploring Morrowind I just went swimming across a lake to see what's on the other shore and SUDDENLY I had bounty...still in the middle of the lake. I found out later it's a quest zone later on but bit more warming would really be nice.0
