Can the Devs add an "Edit Note" feature to the friends list

So kind of like the guild's notes on specific people(or perhaps all of them), shouldn't we have the same thing for our friends list?
Personally I'd like to know why I added the person or what their role is for a pledge etc etc, so many things to put there.
