Explain How to Work Around Broken Dungeon Queue

As I am not as experienced working around the mess that is the dungeon queue, I'm hoping someone can offer me some insight. Since Morrowind launch, the dungeon finder has been borked for a close friend of mine. He can't queue solo or with groups. He managed to get lucky in one instance and was able to complete a singular run. After that, the game defaulted back to kicking him out of groups right when the rest of his party had been formed. (And it gives him a deserter debuff to boot). The reason I'm here asking is because he's so frustrated that his favorite part of the game is unplayable he's thinking about abandoning ESO in the interim. I know we could just run dungeons with guildies and skip the queue, but that's not always possible. Any advice for a technical workaround?

Zenimax still thinks they fixed something, so dont hope for a fix.

I considered it, but...

It didn't seem like it would be happening anytime soon. So, sadly, I'm hoping someone in the community has technical Voodoo skills.

Has he tried to manually port in or is he kicked from the group? Or you could solo and duo a few.

I haven't found a way to make the queue work. What helps a little is waiting 5 to 10 seconds before accepting.

The game actually kicks him from the group AFTER the group is formed? Or does he find a group and selects he's ready only for the Finder to place him back in the Queue? Cause if the latter happens, that's not him being kicked, that's because someone else in that group declined putting the other three back into the queue. It happens all the time to me and I don't know why so many people do that. Are there really that many griefers queuing so they can make other people wait longer?

If I get group request first 20 sec and it says someone declined I simply restart the queue again. If I got no request after 3min wait I also re queue. That work for me. I have not been kicked from a group after it has formed though, sound odd.

That is the workaround I do and it get me doing the stuff I want.

That's not what happens. The group finder is bugged and shows this message even if my friends and I queue as a group of 4 and none of us decline. It's simply broken.

....I always assumed people were actually declining. Guess I just didn't think the Finder was actually that bugged.

He can't manually port for a dungeon group which he is no longer a part of.

Yes, that is correct, it kicks him after its placed people in the group together. Then, before he can even get a chance to teleport over, it kicks him from the group entirely. Sometimes it also disconnects him from the game server a couple minutes later. (Which only happens while queueing.)

We had this yesterday. Premade group. All four accepted. Then forming group. Suddenly queued with the message someone declined. Then I think after 60 seconds new ready check. After three times same thing we go finally get into dungeon. Have 10 more ready checks inside dungeon, until somehow the group finder shows mercy and goes to in progress.
