Morrowind solo run. "It is a good idea" they said.

Got e-mail from ZOS with "reasons to play Morrowind". The main clue is "perfect story for solo run just like in Skyrim". I want to ask^ where, the hell, you sew perfect solo experience? Every damned story cave, tomb or any else mini-location just overcrowded by people (its newbies usually) who actually didnt know what to do. They're just staying AFk and killngd mobs by timer. What about same solo instance system as we have in Harborage (dat cave with Prophet for personal story)?
Plase dont tell me about socialising and other same bull excrements, it is not me who telling about "perfect solo experience". Also I belive ZoS dont care about it, just as dungeon queue lvl groups (so tired to play dungeons with 10-13lvl players who attacking an empty space by light attacks), also dat dungeon queue is broken and cant finde you a group even if you have tank or/and healer in your team (but replacement finding them instantly) and of ocurse dont forget about "random dungeon bonus reward" what can be obtained by queuing group's leader only, my other friends queuing with me have no any reward so we must run it many times with each group member as leader.

Solo means not having to group with another player, not being by yourself in an instance.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Yeah. It does make it hard to get fully engaged in story and atmosphere when each instance is packed over the brim with three alliances.

It was genuinely hard to find the bosses in all the delves. They're always dead.

Any reason to do this if entire hordes of players will broke any adventure atmosphere every time I going to mission?

umm, the bonus experience from a RANDOM dungeon works just fine, group leader or not. As for the perfect solo experience...well, you cant expect Vvardenfell to empty right after release. Ivf you want a better solo experience, wait a few months for it to die down...there are plenty of other quests in the game in which you wont see many other players. Go play the main questline...thats all solo instances, or the mage/fighters guild questline. In the end though, this is a multiplayer game...and always will be. You want solo? Go play demon souls or the witcher III. You bought Elder Scrolls ONLINE, expect other players....it wont change anytime soon.

I understand that. But you have to admit in a lot of places the only difference is I'm not officially grouped. There are so many people in some places, I'm certainly not playing solo or feeling like I'm playing solo.

Im playing with a group. Im just not grouped.

If you are on PC there are addons, that once updated, mark where the bosses are in the delves. They are still dead a lot but at least you know where to go and wait :)

    Nestor is correct.

This is an MMO game. They tried their best to make it feel as solo as possible. But yes, you have to wait a bit if you want to experience it on your own. Personally I don't mind. And sometimes when I'm in one of the most remote locations, it's always nice seeing a person or two just dropping on your screen.

Maybe ZOS should send our subscription (I mean ESO+ of course) money to add-ons authors? Kus they doing ZoS job anyway.

That would be a great idea, but sadly I'm a console Pleb.

I resorted to looking at the map and guesstimating where I think they'd place a boss. (No guides existed right away). :)

Exactly, we are what, a month out on Morrowind on the PC. Most of the Vvardenfell delves I go to now are mostly empty. It takes time to find players for World Bosses. So, just like

Its early, everyone is doing the new content. If you want to feel more alone, wait for a month or so.

But it is an MMO, you want a single player game experience, you have to play a single player game.

I'm not telling you about open world location, but story only. Story location you exploring along just as dat story say. But I must lurk through dungeon where an other "mega boss who want to destroy a world or atleast neares towns gathering his armyes and story says I'm only who can struk him down" just only to saw he become a sexual slave of a horde of players who reskiling and teabaging him from spawn to spawn. Even if they no need to do this anymore, kuz misison completed.

I don't actually have a problem with it. I feel the same way you do. It is an MMO.

Which is what makes it funny that they are trying to sell it as a great solo experience. Sell the game for what it is. Not lie about what it is. Like Skyrim! Not so much....

Sounds like a non- MMO player was duped into thinking this was a single player RPG like Skyrim and Final Fantasy XV.

True. But "perfect story for solo run just like in Skyrim" -- the content of the marketing email that OP received -- communicates something very different. The marketing for this expansion told people: you enjoyed TESIII and TESV? This will be the same kind of experience! But like everyone is saying in this thread, that was all along an unrealistic expectation. OP is just complaining that the experience ZOS marketing suggested he could have is not in fact available. Seems like a reasonable complaint to me.

Want a solo game? play a solo game!

Incredibly stupid comment given the OP specifically mentioned solo quests in the base ESO game. The entire main quest is played truly solo, and given the advertising he was expecting Morrowind to play the same way. His expectations were completely justified.

This "It's an MMO!!1!" defence force is embarrassing.

Agreed. And I'm sure most of these who shout "It's an MMO !!111!1" doesn't do RPG. So it suddenly matters to them this is an MMO, but doesn't matter this is also RPG. Pot calling the kettle black.

I play this game like a single player adventure game. So I don't care about MMO OR RPG part, but at least I don't call anyone to play my style.

At the roots of RPG's (board games and D@D) they were never solo and were very much about playing with others. Many of those who play mmorpg do in fact like RPG - no surprise this is a high fantasy mmorpg. You can play the game anyway you want including solo, but a mmorpg is a game of shared instances so its up to the solo player to adapt, not the other way around.
