Morrowind expansion upgrade price drop

Well I got spammed with some advertising on Facebook about Morrowind being on sale. I decided to check it and apparently the digital upgrade formats have dropped in price already. Both the collector's edition and the regular format have dropped. I also checked several different shops to see if it was consistent and it was. Is this a bad sign with it going on sale this soon? Seems kind of fast too drop the price already.

This is for the PC. I haven't checked the console prices.

Yeah, guess I should have cancelled my preorder and waited for this price drop. The game not worth the original $40 I spent for the digital upgrade. Anyway, this seems to be the norm. When Skyrim appeared on November 11th of 2011 it got a price reduction in less than a month due to December's steam sale of that year. And the same thing happen with games which are released close to those steam sales. You can bet I wont buy the new Wolfenstein and Evil Within games on October and will do when the end of the year sale comes.

Probably not, seen it a lot from many different companies, they release something then soon after discount it. Especially at this time of the year, because of the Steam summer sale, most of the third party retailers will be dropping their price to try and avoid as many lost sales as they can.

Heck. Morrowind has been out on PC for a bit now. Would expect the price to be dropping soon. Normal business. I think the game went on sale about 2 months after launch. Sell what you can fill price during the hype then do a sale.

Mass refunds thanks to broken gf for bg. So they are desperately trying regain some of that money by price drop. They could just spend small part of money they waste on commercials to hire actual competent programmers to fix ongoing issues but guess that would be too smart move.

If you are on the fence, might want to take advantage of this. I expect the price to go back up.

It's due to the time of year, most company's are dropping prices for summer sales. From games to clothing stores and sites lol. Normal practice tbh.

If you are interested in a warden it might be worth a little more to you. If not, that seems about right.

cdkeys has both eso AND morrowind AND the preorder bonus pack now for $17.. I'm so glad we didn't pay $40 for it a few months ago.

$10 for black friday, or free?
