Why are inventory bags not being rendered on players?

Yes, the standard bag has not rendered on players since the ESO+ bag of holding came out. It looks funny!

Sometimes my crafting utensils don't show either, I'm stirring in mid-air, or hammering with no hammer!

I have to respectfully disagree with YOU because they always render for me. I have seen you post about this before and it made me pay attention to the bags ingame and I have not seen one not render.

Three of us are, the fourth is a tight wad and only pays every three to four months so he can dump his materials in the bag when his banks too full

I'll try to double check it tonight and post a screenshot. Maybe it's just eso+ members not rendering to others and i've been lucky not to notice, but i see people rummaging in bags quite regularly.

The standard backpack does not render but the Crafting bag does. Perhaps it is on players who have gone from ESO+ back to no sub and the replacement of the bag does not happen again?

Crafting tools such as the hammer don't display on my Orc reliably but they do so on my other characters. The Orc is quite large so perhaps he crushes it in his fist?

It happens sometimes to me, the bag does not render, but I have never noticed it was only for the regular bag...

I've seen players with no crafting bag, just twisting their hand in nothing. Then the ones with ESO+ I've seen the crafting bag appear just fine. Then there are ones that dig around in a glowy treasure chest. But yes, ones that I know that are running without a sub will have nothing in their hands.

I also see the crafting tools vanish, or in some cases, with characters that use the scholar personality, I'm using my quill or book to stir a pot or hammer on the anvil.

Might be a bug on the people you are seeing, effecting you. Ie they're bugged so it doesn't render for other people.

I agree 100%. This is a run down of what happens.

Inventory Bag ( Unrendered )
ESO+ Craft Bag ( Rendered )
Crown Store/Chest ( Rendered )
Cooking and Anvil animation objects ( Buggy and Unrendered )

ZM with all due respect everything was running stable before you released this ESO+ craft bag.

This should have being fixed along time ago especially with all the bug reports submitted to you.

On Xbox, the inventory bag rarely renders - I only see it on the odd occasion. I see the crafting bag, and the cooking animation is fine.

It may be the case but again just throwing this into the mix, I have never seen a standard inventory being rendered on any player ever since this ESO+ craft bag was introduced.

The glowy chest is the crown store :P

Hmm now that you mention it my Orc has the Heroic personality on while my other characters don't have any. Perhaps that is the cause of the hammer not showing. Will try removing it tonight and see what happens.

That being said, I went to Craglorn where everyone turns in their writs and took 22 pictures of rendered inventory bags. Is it possible that 22 random people all sub? Sure, it's possible. Did I see anyone playing with their balls? Nope! I'm not going to post all 22 pictures unless you want to see them all. I will post some of them for now.

Dude, every picture you have posted is the ESO+ craft bag, just like I said pal you are seeing something else.

The original inventory bag looks like a traditional backpack, but you wont find it because it doesn't render.

Because some 2H weapons as well as shields are rendered on the back of the character there's really nowhere to put a backpack. Also a backpack won't really suffice to put that 5' stick or 4' maul IRL.

What? This isn't Dayz I know players dont bloody wear backpacks. This is nothing to do with wearing a backpack.
