Is Battlegrounds worth it?

Im almost only playing PvP and the only reason for me to buy Morrowind update would be Battlegrounds. Please tell me if its worth it. Im quite experienced in duels and PvP, so tell me, for a duel and pvp addict, is it a must have, or not so much, so i will wait till its more on sale. Thanks for answers.

You're better off buying Imperial City if you don't have that already. Wait until the price for Morrowind lowers to 20 or below if only one thing interests you.2 -

Thats just what i think. Around 20 would be the cut off, to spend for a new game/contend max. But then i think it will be maybe around christmas till it comes of 50%, and then i think will and can i wait half a year??

✭✭✭Bgs are great when you can get in, a ton of fun it really is, no one will say bgs are not fun that pvps. They could have sold just that for 40$ if it worked!
When we finally get in we have a blast when it's 4v4v4 and fair fights but with que and teams not matched up right it's a pain.
If they can fix thes ques and teams being even match ups I would say bgs are the best thing in this game hands down.0 -

That's been my experience as well, on xb1 NA. Group queue is busted. Never waited more than a few minutes for a match, most of the time about 1-2 min. The majority of my games are even teams. Whether it's 2, 3 or 4 people per team. I do get 4v4v2 tho and it is crazy annoying. Even with the issues, battlegrounds are the most fun I've had in this game since I started playing in 1.6
Edit: @leepalmer95 i agree with you about the domination and ctf. You basically get penalized for fighting. You're better off just waiting until 2 teams start fighting then go take a flag. i came back this spring after a year and half off and mostly looking to pvp.
Cyrodil just doesnt do it for me since i run solo and really want to improve.
i can run around cyrodil for hours before i might be able to get in one good small scale pvp fight.
of course itd be different if i had people to run with that also wanted to do small group, but the only pvp guild i have just zergs all day.
so for me, yeah i love bgs. are they perfect? no. can they be unbalanced? yeah, but when you get a good match its the stuff i always wanted outta eso personally.1 -

wow, 60 min... that sucks. queues are less than 60 seconds on console.
i literally cant even check my mail with the last match's rewards before it pops.

Dakmor_Kavu✭✭✭Gotta say I had no issue getting into games today solo queuing. I was on from 8am EST - 1pm EST and the longest wait I had was maybe 5 minutes? I wasnt doing BGs exclusively 100% of that time, but I queued and joined probably around 10 matches without any hiccups.
Sure, a few times I got dropped into rounds already in progress, but that was the worst of it. All the rounds felt pretty good (1 or 2 times getting rolled but nothing rage-quit worthy) and I'll be back for more tomorrow.1
