Two handed execute

I have tested the two handed execute and it seems to not be scaling properly. The bonus damage seems to be more like 100% rather than 300%. Can anyone else confirm this.

I am a bosmer stamina warden.

It scales up to 300%. Its not 300% right away below 50%.

I know that. But its not scaling properly. I need another person to test it just to make sure its not a problem on my end.

    The way it scales is:

    Base Dmg * (1+ % modifiers)

The execute dmg is additive, not multiplicative with other % modifiers. Lets say from CP, passives and whatnot you have 60% additional dmg even not in execute range. Lets assume the base dmg is 100.

This means not in execute range you deal 160 dmg.
In execute range you will deal up to 460 dmg.

So, yes, you are more likely to observe damage numbers that are double the non-execute damage (around 300ish).

Iirc they changed the % to being additive in morrow patch.
So you are gaining 300% of only some of what the tooltip shows in almost every case.

    Could be mistaken.

Sure but it's still doing less damage than before. My dizzy is doing 6k damage to a player with 5% hp remaining. My execute is doing 4.3k damage with 5% hp remaining. Did anyone test it?

Dizzy is stronger. Execute is quicker. I would not spam execute right after seeing the 50% target hp.

Like I said, I tested it in a target with 5% hp left.

    Templars have Jabs.

Only 2 stamina spec'd that dont have class spammables are forced into Wrecking Blow or Puncture.... but those particular 2 stamina classes have magicka utility skills that are really good.

I rather stay on topic and find out if this is a bug or not.

Check this topic, https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/349328/how-morrowind-broke-impale-and-likely-other-skills-numbers-included/p1 the way that type of damage is calculated has changed. Though if you are comparing uppercut to reverse slice, they are different types of way to damage, so it doesn't make sense to compare them.

I'm comparing them because they are the only 2 damage abilities use for 2h. I know how much damage they each do since i have used them numerous times before update 14.

What you have said is largely irrelevant, did you even check the link I have provided? The new update messed with the way percentage based damage increases are calculated. Reverse slash is one of these ablities and uppercut is not.

Okay, so I should be expecting to deal less damage with my execute during execute range than my spammable and that is apparently working as intended.

You are the one saying that, I simply pointed out that thread for you to understand why the skill is acting like that.

And as has been pointed out already in this thread, Reverse slash is still an improvement over uppercut, as it instant, you can get 2 off in the time it takes for one uppercut and if you choose reverse slice, it is a potent AOE.
