Is it possible to use the Mail service between Pc and Console?

Just had an idea that hit me. Is it possible to send mail between accounts on Pc to say Xbox one or PS4? As im tempted to buy the PC version while im at Uni and was wondering if its posible to email stuff back to my main XBox account and vice verse ? It seems like a potentially useful mechanic as if i started a new character on PC i could craft and send some trainer armour for my new character.
