Thinking of getting a laptop dont really care for 4k, just wanna play eso with high fps and on ultra any recommendations

    Would also get a good CPU since ESO does not multi core well. Trials it seems to utilize one core significantly more than the others, but yes, a GTX 970 will handle the game ok..

    Unless you really need to mobility though a desktop will get you better results even when on par and cost significantly less than the notebook.

    Further, I would suggest an app such as MSI Afterbuner to check for GPU heat. If it is running hot then you can use that app for a custom fan profile. I used to game on a true gaming notbook and used that to manage heat.

    Further, SSD will help with overall heat on a notbook. While it increases the price, many notbook HHDs have slower speeds.

    Even 960m is fine. What my lappy is.

    For 15inch imo.
    17inch market I have not looked at due to higher cost for those 2inches.
