[Issue] Dark Brotherhood Quest With No Dlcs?

So I recently got Morrowind which includes just the base game to the best of my understanding... No DLCs. Well I JUST got the Dark Brotherhood quest "Voices in the Dark"

Someone explain this to me please?

Just so you know, I read the thread title as 'Dark Brotherhood quest with no ***'.

I'm not sure why, this one is confused.

How did you acquire the Quest? Go into your Menu and check your Collections tab, under DLC and makes sure you really don't own the DLC. I don't understand why the game would give you the Quest for content you can't access.

Are you playing with a new account? Is it possible you have a free month of ESO Plus or have subscribed to it? ESO Plus subscribers have access to all DLCs, regardless if they've been purchased.

I went to sell some stolen goods and a woman with an eyepatch told me to come here so i did and she gave me a quest... Im not ESO+ all I got was morrowind+base game. Im confused myself

Is the quest telling you to go to Anvil?

I checked my account and nowhere does it say i have a free month or anything.

Yes it is telling me to go there and kill someone

If you don't have the DLC, I'd recommend getting it just for the Blade of Woe ability.

Well I understand that, But thats not the issue at hand. the thing is Im getting the quest without having the DLC. I checked I dont

Havent tried yet. Im not even sure how to get there if I dont have a wayshrine unlocked. Let me try and report back

Ok well it sounds like Amelia managed to get through to you somehow. She is quite eager at times
