Equilibrium ?

Having come from skyrim, I really miss this spell alot from the school of alteration. Im wondering if theres a spell like it in this game or similar? Using life to pay for something.. My character is all about self healing and stealing life it would be nice to be able to use health as an alternative resource pool.

Cool thanks what is your thoughts on the spell? I notice symmetry is probably the goto morph choice.

Another ?, How is blood altar from undaunted skill line? It looks cool and on theme with what im going for... is it worth for solo play?

almost everyone agrees that it is a useless skill, and not ever worth using.

I actually like balance over spell symmetry. The extra resistances are nice and they do last a good little while. Equilibrium has its place and it vastly more useful if there is a dedicated healer in your group.

Blood Altar will be completely useless in solo play, and it has VERY niche usage in group play. The minor healthsteal debuff it gives out is pretty weak on its own and the synergy leaves a lot to be desired, but can be an okay supplement for group healing in a 12 man trial raid.

Equilibrium/Balance was nice for tanks before this latch patch where ZoS nerfed it into the ground...its still useful for tanks, but no longer helps the rest of the group nearly as much as it did, now the magicka would instead be used for talons, igneous weapons, or other buffs. I can actually see this skill being VERY useful for warden tanks since they have so many group buffs available

Balance grants resistances? From what i read it increases your health regen.... fortitude for 20 seconds? What resistances does it grant if so? Im a vampire would it be helpful for me? Blood altar is useless huh? Well thats too bad, my characters all about lifestealing so it wouldve been nice if it was any good. I guess i can slot it on my 2nd bar for funsies with my resto staff..

Balance morph buffs phys and spell resistance, major ward and major fortitude?(hence the Balance name....takes health, but makes you tougher to kill even if you cant heal for a few seconds). The big problem with vampire is the drain ability(while it heals for 22% of missing health or whatever is a channeled skill taking 3 seconds to complete the drain, which means if you are a DK, Green Dragon Blood is a far better choice since it buffs your health and stamina regen and heals for a larger portion of missing health and is instant cast, though it doesn't damage enemies doing so(but you can do as much or more damage than you could with the drain portion anyway within those 3 seconds, even if you hit like a wet noodle). As for blood altar....its pretty much useless to the caster...and for other group members, they barely ever hit the synergy. As a tank I appreciate it when someone drops a blood fountain, since if I drop low enough in health for the synergy to appear I need it...but aside from tanks, no one will use that synergy, and the minor lifesteal for the caster is essentially useless since every class has access to better heals than that. From an effective gameplay standpoint...neither skill is particularly effective...but from a flavor standpoint...go for it, maybe the vampire lord set will make it marginally playable.

I'm a saptank and I've been experimenting with it. My heavy attacks with 1h&s restore stamina but the majority of my damage dealing skills are magika. I went with the Balance morph, but I think I may have enough resistances already and should lvl the Spell Symmetry morph. If you have another form of healing coming your way the. Equilibrium is okay, but if you are running low on magika but not health, I'm not sure if the risk to your health is worth taking. Maybe it's situational. I really just want Siphoning Attacks back.

I think i might pick up both skills along the line strictly for flavor im trying to take everything that involves stealing life from opponents.
