Inferno vs Lightening staff magicka sorcerer build (PVP). Which is better?

I just discovered the Exploiter passive from the blue CP line and it gives 10% increase to enemies which are off balance. The blockade of Storms skill sets off enemies, so it triggers the Exploiter passive, quite nice
The downside is that you won't be using crushing shock that much or at all due to the lightening staff being a chain attack, not being able to animation cancel

So, what is better in PVP:
Inferno staff + the crushing shock spam
Lightening staff + Blockade of Storms (or any other skill that sets enemies off, are there any other?) so + the 10% increase damage done to set off balance enemies

Do any of you people know any lightening staff magicka sorcerer builds? Would be interesting to look at

You should probably combine your multiple threads in a single one.

The exploiter passive is META in PVE. Any group that knows anything will have their healer(s) running Lighting blockade and every damage dealer will spec 75 pts into thaumaturge. A lot of trial groups will have one or 2 sorcs running lighting blockade as well

In PVP, you dont see this being nearly as common. The issue is that smart players wont hang around in your blockade, but in duals and defending choke points, it can certainly be useful.

If you are looking for builds, check out alcasthq.com I am not saying they are the best builds, but they are well thought out for both PVE and PVP in just about every class, and most will have multiple gear options.

As for fire and lighting staffs: In PVE, front bar lighting all day every day. The channel does AOE damage and is very strong. In PVP, its more of a judgment call. You can certainly light weave both types of staffs, so no reason you cant run CS with either. Fire staff will allow for a little more burst, but if people are group together, lighting staff is very strong.
