Best Skills for a Mag Sorc?

I recently convinced my friend to buy ESO with me on PC. I played a bit back on console and now i wanna get back into it on PC.

I of course know the must have skills, frags, curse, fury, ward, ect. But there are a couple of interchangeable skills im unsure on. Are mines still worth using? Harness Magicka a must? I also see people using dark exchange, surge, mage light, & boundless storm now.

What are the most optimal skills to use now? im going to be avoiding cp campaigns. Mostly gonna play battlegrounds & no cp cyrodil.

Staff: Crushing, Frag, Ward/Entropy, Curse and Fury - Dawnbreaker/Destro Ult

Backbar: Dark Exchange, Crit Surge/Entropy/Ward, Healing Ward, Streak/Ward and Harness Magicka (Dampen was better last patch) - Resto Staff Ultimate or Overload and Negate inside

DW: Entropy, Frag, Curse, Fury and Inner Light/Streak - Dawnbreaker/Meteor

Backbar: Dark Exchange, Daedric Mines/Streak, Healing Ward, Harness and Ward - Resto Staff Ultimate or Overload and Negate inside

Generally you can switch it up, and some abilities work better with different sets and abilities may change depending on environment, group and your own play style. So dont feel pressured into anything.

For example of sets, entropy, with poison dot, lightning staff, and haunting curse will proc skoria.

Atronach, 1 v1 is good, not in huge fights. Negate is awesome in keeps, fantastic in ic, and sub par in big open spaces (unless you are focusing a healer, requiring coordiation and not pugging)

I always use overload bar: defensive rune helps with ganks, evasion for dodge, det proc, volcanic rune. Im even trying with hunters trap (sitting in mines, volcanic rune, with trap)

Are you aggresive or support? If more support, you could drop healing ward for combat prayer. In a group of 12, you heal, increase everyone in the aoe dmg output by 8% and minor resolve/protection
