Daedric War info given by Azura

So at the end of the quest, the missing prophets (where you get Azura'S shard moments), Azura says that the Daedric War will be "holocaustic", and that it will be far more devastating than what the mortal world has seen before. She also states that'll take place across many zones, many zones and will be utterly devastating. Does this mean that when it fully gets going, will we see for instance, Daggerfall under siege with Daedra falling from the sky and attacking citizens? I'm willing to but it'll be bigger than Molag Bal'S attempted invasion as the mortal world has seen that and Azura states it'll be bigger and more devastating

That would be pretty awesome! I love how in some games they have events that only occur once in the history of the game, but continue for weeks to a year. Similar to the holiday/seasonal, but more thematic of the lore. Like in Everquest they had Race Wars, where PVP was turned on everywhere and regardless of guilds before hand, you were now teamed up with whatever races the lore of the game said you were friendly with, and against the other races.

So, I could see stuff like that being used for this, if ZOS could plan and create a timed event, where for some period of time, Daedra were opening portals and raining down on the cities, and the players needed to accomplish certain tasks, build faction, repair, etc, to build points towards ending the invasion, or getting into the second stage, and so on. Would be something really cool if they did it right, and make the world seem more dynamic!

I feel like they'll drag it out over 2 more 'expansions'

    Hope it's done well though

I wonder if we'll get to align with a specific daedric prince during this event. I would fight for Meridia and Azura, but to hell with Molag Bal and Mehrunes Dagon

There's 3 evil princes involved, clavicus vile is one, mephala and nocturnal are likely the other

The house of troubles are not involved in this plot so far. They made a pact with sotha sil to not interfere with nirn or something like that
