Xbox One recording with Elgato

Hey guys so I have one of those Elgato HD60 Game Capture device, but I'm having difficulties getting the device to capture game video and audio properly. I've tried with both the Elgato software and OBS I got a point where I thought I was recording with OBS but for some reason when I went to the file path where the recording was supposed to be saved there was nothing there. If anyone can help me with this that would be great. Also I'm wanting to get the in game group chat or guild chat audio to record in the video or if not at least the xbox party chat to record preferably the in game audio though
