Making sets for new players

Tonight I decided to give away some low level sets to new players, but ran into an obvious problem where I couldn't tell if they were new or an alt since the game doesn't show CP below level 50. I made level 10 and level 20 Seducer light armor sets in all training, upgraded to blue quality and tried handing them out in zone chat. It didn't work out too well, I did give them away, but couldn't respond to everyone messaging me. I might change my tactic next time and just walk up to players who fit the level and open trade with them.

Anyone have a better idea of how to distribute sets to new players? I'm doing this completely for free, as long as I have mats to support it of course.

I've done that before by putting them for dirt cheap in guild stores. People find them there.

I always reserved this for players who ask questions in /zone that indicate to me that they are new. They like the Ashen Grip set, it's always heartwarming to watch them enjoy something that I think is utter trash...

(and of course, love using on a werewolf character because it looks cool :p)
