Self revive bug in IC.

So i found a nb exploiting this today, i killed them many times only for me to turn around and see them cloaking off again.

Anyway after suspecting what was happening i killed them once more then cloak and went into sneak on the body.

Sure enough they decided to just stand up again, no res then self revived.

Anyway decided to pm the nb about it. Asked them why they were exploiting.

Of course they got all defensive saying you wish you knew how to do it and such, even though i do. Told them me and my friends who were with me was going to report them, they got all salty but i managed 3 videos of them self reviving which i can't post because of zos's annoying 'shaming' rules. I should be able to post videos showcasing exploiters.

Anyway i then preceded to spend the next 15 mins guarding the body while instant killing them as they self revived.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Is anything being done about this? I'm expecting people to get banned or temped at least as the way you do this exploit shows a clear indication that you know your exploiting.

Its not an accidental bug.

No it's not. I have confirmed this is a bug and honestly is very easy to do. I have reported it with how to do it in detail during Morrowind PTS. It still exists.

I encountered this bug today. An EP player kept getting killed over and over by our group. He would die and after a 1-2s stand up like nothing happened and come after us all hundy. Which was fine except there was no way for us to get away from him. He would constantly light attack us as we tried to go through the door. Finally another pair of D.C. players found him and started playing his game of kill/revive-glitch and we were able to move on.

I have vids, I'll string 'em together and report the player. I don't get mad over glitches very often but this one annoys me. Farming flags or dragon leaping on keeps is one thing....but don't you DARE use a glitch to take my telvar!!! Lol.

Report them. And Zos cant stop you from putting it up on youtube, or from others finding your youtube channel.

Besides, theres always the reddit eso forums.

Good i ran into another 3 yesterday, when i pm'ed them both of them was saying 'i tried to respawn at out gate, i'm new i didn't know'

For new guys they sure reacted fast to the unexpected self revive and tried to cloak off.

You can easily trigger this bug accidentially. It happened to me. Did it twice, first time because i didn't know it was bugged (well, i knew about the existence of a self revive bug, just not how it worked), 2nd time to confirm. Didn't do it again of course, but if it a new player just wants to get out of the city after dieing and doesn't know how to leave otherwise, he might do it multiple times without actually wanting to. It's not like they gain anything by getting killed over and over again.

Doesn't mean, nobody exploits it on purpose, just saying that not everybody who self revives in the IC does it intentionally.
