Morrowind Purchased, new character has to start in Morrowind?

I feel like I rushed my character and since I don't like how he looks, I want to restart again. Dang restartitis. :P So I am going to rerole my Altmer again for the third, (or is it fourth?) time again. This time I am going to play how I want and not what I have been reading on the forums and guides. I don't care if I am not the max powerful anymore. I just want to have fun and not feeling the fun with my current level 25 Altmer Mage so I am going to do what I wanted to do in the first place.

My question is, I don't want to start in Morrowind but I can't remember if I read that if I own it, I will start there and have no option to start in Summerset Isle. Is this true? If so, I can Wayshrine back to there correct? If so, how would I go about doing that?

Also any tips and suggestions to just have fun? I don't want to die a lot but I also don't care if I am not the most powerful in my single playing play through. This time around I am going to make potions, food, armour and weapons and what not.

Also I am playing on PC now and I am wondering how do I know if someone is talking to me? I am not savvy or up to date on how to communicate with others or doing the "social" aspect of the game. So I am willing to try and see how this works. Any tips on how to do this? Any rules I should abide by? I don't want to be bothering people or making their time playing less enjoyable to. What is the etiquette when chatting or talking to others?

All characters start in the Morrowind startup zone now, but that doesn't mean you can't go back and do the original games quest's. You will need to finish the Morrowind tutorial/startup zone & quest first - once you have finished this you can then waypoint to Auridon.

When you land in Auridon you'll get approached by a cloaked/hooded figure with a quest - this starts the ESO main quest, which you will need to do to be able to do the AD questline. So accept this quest and do this - it will take you through the Coldharbor prison section (original game start).

Once finished you'll be deposited in the AD starting zone/island and can then pick up the alliance quest there... and play the game through the original zone/alliance/game quest's without needing to do Morrowind at all. And if you never pick up the quest in the 1st Morrowind town... you won't even have that quest in your quest log - or you can pick it up and just ignore it.

Since you've already done the tutorial once on your account you don't HAVE to do the morrowind tutorial, you can choose to skip it. Port directly to your normal factions first zone you get to after the original tutorial, and start the old tutorial via the 'talk to the hooded figure' quest
