Huge delay in bar switch after Dark Conversion cast

Hello,
The title says it all: when I cast Dark Conversion and I try to switch bars, my stupid toon waves his hands but doesn't switch the bars. It is very annoying since I wanna play not wave hands at mobs.
Please fix it. If it is intended, please fire the person who intends it and then fix it

Thank you! Yes, It's 1 second channel time and because of the animation it takes 2 seconds to finally switch the bars.
If you cast it in a loop of 3-4 casts, for me it loops on and continues to cast instead of switching bars or cast another pressed spell. I don't know if it's the animation of what ... but it's very annoying. If it isn't intended, I hope they'll fix it. If they wants it to be like this, it feels just wrong to me. They should make it instant cast, like it was before.

✭✭The skill was never an instant cast. It used to be a 4 second channel back in the day. In IC they changed it to 1 sec. In DB they doubled the amount of resources and healing from the ability. In Morrowind, they increased the cast time to 1.2 sec and added an extra 0.2 of delay before using other abilities (that includes bar swap). So it is intended and all channel abilities work the same way.@ Izaki #PCEU

✭✭This skill used to be a long interruptible channel that restored more resources the longer you held it. Now it's just a single button push. But ya, there's still a cast time. Be happy it's faster than it used to be so you don't have to LoS and hide to use it.
Long story short, wait for the animation to finish before you try to swap bars.0 -
