Crafting Stations in Housing

Only work on and off, my dye station has never worked and sometimes my blacksmithing station will work but the clothing wont or vice versa. I've tried relogging restarting. Is anyone else experiencing this? I spent over 300k on these stations for them to not even work

Only thing I read here fairly regular on the forum is to make sure they are properly aligned with the floor. Hope that helps.

Have you tried picking them up and placing them again, making sure the outline is green when you place them? I've had things stop working and re-placing them fixed it.

Yes, you have to make sure they are not clipping into anything and they need to be on a level surface.

Yeah they're really buggy. Sometimes picking them back up and placing them again will let you use em for a bit at least

Are you certain that they're placed properly? If they're not highlighted in green as you place them you cannot interact with them after. Which is something that bit me a few times. I've also noticed that in some homes (Mathiisen Manor and Amaya Lake Lodge for myself) stations placed to close together or to near certain walls the view angle has to be "just right" or you do not get the prompt. Moving them to a slightly different location or entirely different all together "fixed" that.

I submitted a ticket for this because I experienced the same thing post morrowind patch. The only suggestion from support was to make sure they are green (which it was) before placing them. I think when we place them on platforms, when the home loads up, the hitbox or whatever of the platforms covers the stations. The stations only work 100% of the time when I place them on the ground.

Make sure they outline is green before you release the object. If it's clipping something as stated above it won't work, if you go into edit mode and just hit select then exit usually fixes it for me.

If they're placed properly, try a /reloadui when you zone in.

Also make sure you aren't placing things on them. I put a jar of dye from one of the achievements on my dye station and it quit working until I removed it.

Oh poo. Pardon my french but that is disappointing. Of course you would put goodies on the table, clutter is real life!
