I am a mag sorc about to get to 50 in cp 370 I'm getting ready to get my gear. I want to craft it too make it look cool I was thinking shackle breaker for one set is this a good idea on mag sorc? And if there are better sets that I could farm Instead of craft what are they. Also I am trying to focus on pvp! But I would appreciate pve sets in case I wanna run dungeons. Thank you guys!

Five julianos, five netch's touch and a monster helm for non pet sorc I use this most often, sometimes even when I have the familiar slotted as he does shock damage. Very strong.
Five julianos, five necropotence and a monster helm for pet build. I only use this for vma farming. I've beaten it without huge shields, finally, but who wants to spend more time in there than they have to for a drop?
Five julianos plus 3 willpower and a monster set, usually illambris or valkyn skoria is still a very good combo. This is my daily use dungeoning and normal trials setup. In overland solo play or normal dungeons i'll change up the monster set for variety. Infernal guardian, grothdarr, iceheart even are all fun sets with cool pros that I use when I'm not worried about absolute maximum damage output. Illambris is hands-down best damage for a monster set on a magicka sorc though.
If you are just starting to farm gear I would run 5 julianos as a base set since its so good and so easy to obtain. For an easier to obtain, or cheaper to obtain, dropped set to go with it maybe try queen's elegance five piece or just get right to it and starting farming normal darkshade for netch's touch armor pieces. Switch to veteran and get a farm group to get the jewelry. There are a few unique rings and necklaces for that set in darkshade 1 + 2.
Save yourself a huge hassle and run julianos lightning and inferno staves instead of farming a dropped sets weapons. I have five or six gold julianos staves I upgraded long ago and have been using since. At least until I finally get a shock staff to drop in vet maelstrom. (5 frost staves, 3 Reston and you guessed it, 0 inferno and 0 lightning staves so far. Not even with bad traits, which I would so use. Lol.)0
