I'm conflicted.
The price point I think is dead on, so a huge congrats to ZOS for that.
The outside is really nice, lots of places to do interesting things including a dock.
The inside feels very limited, especially with the portal only going to one small room upstairs.

I really like it for my character's story personal story line, however, I am not sure that the cost is appropriate. I toured it furnished and unfurnished, I really like some of the furnishings that it puts in there (the wooden tables and chairs that look like they were made out of branches and antlers) if those are items I can craft myself though, I think I would go with the unfurnished version and craft my own items for it.
I just have to convince my wife to let me buy another $80.00 worth of crowns to buy it

It's more than the price of the Morrowind expansion. For a house. Double the price if you want it furnished. You really think that's a fair price?
Personally I think the majority of Crown Store prices are insane. Every now and again they do something sensible like a rare ice wolf mount at 2500 Crowns, but most of the time they ask the price of an entire game or more for individual mounts and houses.

When I was first ported in, I was a bit disappointed at how small the front area was. Upon walking around the back, it opened up nicely and looked good. Then you go inside........
When I saw the portal when I first walked in I thought it would be a cool house. The bottom floor was roomy enough that it could be easily decorated for your play type and not be a pain to keep up with.
When you take the portal you realize - the upstairs area is a joke. As soon as I saw how small it was and that it didn't open up - man - what a waste by ZOS on what could've been a really cool house. Even in furnished mode the upstairs holds a desk and that's it really
No garden, no vistas, nothing.
Will be buying the lake house now.
