Not sure if it's a bug, though it seems strange. Recovery on my Wood elf Stam warden

So I recently hit level 50 on my stam warden and geared him out (5 vo, 5 hundings, 2 veli - aware none of them give recovery), redid all my passive etc, and my recovery is only sitting on 863; with max health/stam food. This is pretty much the same recovery as magicka as I have on my high elf sorc. Only different here is how many more passives I have for recovery, such as;
+12% if an animal companion is slotted
+20% (4% per piece of medium armour equipped)
+21% wood elf passives
+15% for 100 points into Mooncalf

I feel as though I should have more base recovery without having to boost it with pots/drinks? Or is this literally what my recovery looks like on a pve wood elf..

    Base recovery is 514. So 863/514 = 1.68 I think everything is fine. Zero multiplied by million is still zero. Increase your basic regen then these percentage will give you more recovery.
    Because I can!

    Yep you're probably right lol. I didn't do any math, just compared, and thought it seemed too low. Thanks for clarrifying anyway
