Is there a difference between swords and daggers in a dual wield setup?

The Twin and Blade Blunt passive.

You get a bonus for the types of 1H weapons you wield.

• Each axe gives your melee attacks a chance to bleed enemies.
• Each mace causes your attacks to ignore a % of an enemy's Physical Resistance.
• Each sword increases your damage done.
• Each dagger increases your Weapon Critical rating.

Passives for dual wield make it so that
Swords do 5% more damage
Maces ignore 5%of armor
Axes have 8% chance to make them bleed
Daggers add 5%crit per dagger

Ok, so given that whats considered best? Planning to play a stamina nightblade and I like to use 2 of the same weapon type hate having different types of weapons in each hand haha

Swords and daggers are both good for that, though I'd recommend daggers, for the critical rating.
Critical damage adds alot of damage, and if the wiki is still correct, two daggers increase that chance by 10%. 70% crit rating is considered good.

The pro of swords is that your base damage increases, without having to rely on luck, but again, 70% crit chance is reliable enough, aim for that.
