Character creation bug/ text bug

I have just updated after a hiatus from the game and decided to start from scratch. Went to create a new character and when I click on the different races and classes none of the descriptions or names are showing up.
Also when customising the top half of my character the head is cut off and I can't see anything unless I'm zoomed out but then in cant tell what I'm doing.
When I finally managed to create a character (after guessing) and started the game, the quest titles aren't showing, neither are character names, objectives and items.
They just show as "quest title here" etc.
This is on Xbox one, eu server.
I hope you can help as it's driving me insane
